This finals was so underrated, literally it is often overshadowed by 2018, but this was literally peak cavs vs peak warriors, the cavs were insanely good this playoffs but they just couldn't beat rhe best team ever built.
@@zbt62 I watched that entire series and it was one sided with the exception of game 3, the Warriors dominated in game 1, 2, and 5 and the Cavs dominated in game 4
He made it fair if one doesn't lack critical thinking tbh.. Who was their frontcourt scorer to matchup with Bron before he got there? Even Jerry West always had Baylor despite all those losses in the finals.. And don't tell me Klay is that superstar when he can't even get his own shot off like a typical superstars do. Check his numbers in 2015-2018 finals,, that wasn't some superstar numbers whatsoever. Kd made it fair with the superstars matchup. Kyrie vs Steph for the backcourt, Kd vs Bron for the frontcourt.
And the way ppl cover it by saying a 73-wins team as if that wasn't largely bcos of Steph's crazy mvp season clouded most of our judgments. I mean,, is there really a difference between a 73-wins team with let's say 67 or 66 wins team? Was that 73-wins team really better than let's say 60+ wins team of 80's Boston or Lakers team for example? Or 66-wins Heat team in 2012-2013 with Bron, Wade, Bosh, Ray and all those other role players?? GS could've very well ended up with such 60+ wins record had they didn't make a big deal out of it due to that 24-0 start where the media and all the ppl kinda encouraged and hyped them up to go for that reg season wins record. And unfortunately their failure to convert that season to a championship makes ppl use that record-breaking reg season wins against them... When on paper wise,, you don't really see a championship team without a frontcourt elite scorer besides maybe 89, 90, and 2004 Detroit team. Other than those 3 occasions in the long history of this league,, a champ would always have an elite scorer from the frontcourt position.
@@tshecyrille293 It's always my take lol... Have u ever checked Thompson's numbers in those finals?? Jason Terry with 2011 Mavs was much more of a help than he was in those 3 finals.. And all my points were legit. Idk how ppl could perceive Curry vs Lebron like it was pound for pound fair.. If it was Curry with PG maybe it was fair. But Curry & Barnes with that spot-up shooter who never justified his 'superstar' status in the finals?? Cmon now... And ppl like you keep saying 73-wins team as if Curry was not the main factors that propelled such a run. As if Iggy, Barbosa, Livingston, Bogut ever done something significant with their career before they joined him within Kerr's system 😒
Considering LBJ has benefited from recruiting all stars, let’s not cry about it now when he’s on the other side of it Steph was the only 1 on his team that can create his own shot at an all star level while LBJ had Kyrie and Love, especially his Minnesota days. didn’t ruin anything considering the Rockets took them 6-7 games with less talent
People will say this finals is even but they don’t realize the same cabs roster was the underdog two straight years and then they literally lose in the final minute of game seven and they’re like let’s go add the second best player in the world to even it out. That makes zero sense of course they should win in four or five games you have the second and third best player on the planet three of the best shooters on the planet, a 73 and 9 team and people say this series was even not even close
Only people that hate LeBron James would say this finals was evenly matched imagine saying to yourself the two teams that took seven games and one had to come back 3 to 1 just to win and the other was a 73 and 9 that added Kevin Durant the second best player in the world at the time and they say yes it should’ve been a tough series. Yeah if the CAVES would’ve gone seven in this series, I would’ve been astounded but to say oh this was evenly matched no not even close put Kawhi Leonard or Anthony Davis on the Cavs with what they had and sure I’ll give you that but Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, Andre Iguodala, and the monotony of role players in their primes yeah LeBron and Kyrie should be able to handle them
Bron average a 33 point triple double… you cant ask for more. There were outmatched. period. The last two MVPs of the NBA on the same team? This was the best team EVER. Dont say something stupid like that and disrespect these warriors like they not like that
You flat out jus disrespected Kyrie by not putting tunes of buckets that should’ve been Shown how you post clips of 2017 finals and disrespect some one who basically avg 30 this series smh you getting a dislike from me jus cause of that to
@@Mileena420 Kyrie and Love injured obviously Lebron took them to 6 games without his second and third best teammate while averaging a 35pts triple double, without injuries and KD the Warriors had no chance against LEBRON 🐐👑
