STI owner here. If you don’t want to spend TONS of cash to make the car faster and don’t plan to go over 300-350 to the wheels, go for the WRX. However, if you want over the 300-350 range, get the STI. The WRX transmission is the weak point. The STI’s rings and pistons are the weak points. If I could go back in time I would have still gotten the STI. The transmission feels so good to shift and the EJ is a badass motor.
