8:35 No it wasnt. That part of the mapwasmedival type themed, that explains the houses. And shiganshina was inspired from Nördlingen in germany. Its a cramped up town with small alleyways which the POI in Fortnite doesnt have.
And ofcourse they look similar because the right is literally a creative map of a city within the walls in Fortnite. The collab just fits within the theme of that landscape.

funfact: the name of the suit Miles has in the comic cover shown is called the 10th anniversary suit. I got this info from the spiderman 2 game and Insomniac (the developers of spiderman -> spiderman 2 + miles morales) have that suit included so I think it's just Epic game's way of pitching in for the 10th anniversary.
Fun Fact: In the movie avengers endgame, thors friends were playing OG fortnite and also it was taken place in November 2023

Dr. Slone surviving because of the tank makes 0 sense. Even after she gets back in the tank, she was slammed by the mech, the velocity she made with the ground while still in the tank would have definitely killed her. Even still, she was buried under a lake for months (Vibin’) and was exploded from The Chrome. No idea how she survived.

Dr Slone was under the Zero Point in which lowered onto her tank sending her to the jungle reality right after Collision. She sustained severe injuries and was found by Relik who has been helping her recover for a year. Does that make sense now?

8:00 Its a japanese mythical creature. Normally its red on the outside, has black stripes instead of yellow and has beige skin. I think this is a coincidence because the pickaxe had 4 states. It has those states because when you use it, you break the outer layer everytime you hit something with it: the variant thats on the screen, another variation, then the original which I explained, and then a white lucky cat.
I´ts unlikely that they intentionally teased it because the loading screen was from a japanese season and they then added the pickaxe because they saw concept art or they just wanted to release it sometime.

I like one that is probably a coincidence, but in avengers endgame Thor was playing Fortnite in Chapter 1, and this time in the film was set in 2022, almost a teaser for the season og
hey t5g, i just realized that Fencing Fields may be a reimagined version of Frenzy Farm. it fits with the "reimagined apollo chapter 2" theory. the rivers to the east and southeast of Fencing Fields look like the ones that were east and southeast of Frenzy Farm. also its kind of similar to Corny Complex bc theres an underground part of Fencing Fields with a vault and a boss, similar to the underground part of Corny Complex with the Doctor Slone boss. Hazy Hillside is very similar to Misty Meadows, being part of the snow area and soon to be grass area. the Rig and the Yacht are also there too. I'm thinking that Season OG 2024 will most likely be Chapter 2, and start in Season 2 of Chapter 2, similar to how OG 2023 started in a later season of the chapter 1 map. It all makes sense considering that the Floor is Lava mode was renamed to "Midas Presents: Floor is Lava" in the files. if OG 2024 is Chapter 2, what would you say about it?
Also, just adding in, if OG ever returns in Chapter 6, it might be a Chapter 3 one, but I am just predicting what could happen.
Man I really hope so I’ve been wanting to play Ch2S2 again for the longest, that’s actually when I first started playing the game and to this day it’s my favorite and best Season for me. Really hope that would be the outcome of this map.

Also, in the loading screen called Air Walker Maasai there was graffiti that said Jujutsu on the sidewalk, months before the collab with the anime. I don’t know if this is actually a tease tho
