I asked a sales person why they had their Christmas wrapping out already & she explained that it's because many trailer park people celebrate Christmas in July at their trailer park.

I've bought headphones from DT before. They work well for me and seem to last. I like the ones with the rubber bits that go in your ears opposed to the ones that are all plastic.
Your Canada store is so organized and good items...we get everything late especially being a border town down south
Cool store! Those sets of 3 balls would be great to give kids to learn to juggle. Paint or use fabric to cover the bulletin boards.

I absolutely love their chopping mats when I do my crafts and of course their little trinkets. But everything is great at Dollar Tree! ☺👍💰🌳
I get the black earbuds, the soft rubber ones. I get a couple pairs at once, in case one doesn't work well, (which has happened) or give a pair away. They work well most of the time.

You have so many items much nicer there in Canada than we do here in my DT's in the USA....sad that they don't stock the same stuff in all stores, n I can wait months n never see the cool things you have up there!!! For everyone wondering why everything is $1.25 ... and thinking it’s expensive... the prices are in Canadian dollars. $1.25 Canadian dollars is actually only $0.96 USA dollars.
Hey You I think what most individuals are wondering, is why we here in Canada are not paying $1 for items when we shop at DT. If it is a true 'dollar's store, then all we should be paying is a Toonie, just like our American neighbors only pay $1 in there dollar stores. It is even more difficult for them to understand how a place like Dollarama, has goods that can cost as much as $4, and I here DT is going to follow suit up here!

Yes I love to shop with Vanessa 🎈💝👍👍A long time ago those large clear stone's were out, you can put like a clear see through sticker on the back and add a magnet on the back, it magnifies the picture on the sticker😁....😲CHRISTMAS wrapping paper?????No!

@@VanessaVendetti exhausting!! I was out most of the time, still have some to pack up to take to thrift store Monday but I'm too hot and too tired!! It was terribly hot and humid today!! We stayed busy and strady from 8 till about 12:30 and it died!! We'll have to do again and again but I can't do it all as I pretty much did this time. So my granddaughter and children were here. We had 4 generations here, and all female!! The children were very good. After I get some energy and things cleaned up and a shower. I think I'll sleep all day tomorrow. I can barely stay awake. But we stayed up working till 3:30 and back up at 7!! I'm way too old for those hours. I did at one time but those days are long gone. Enjoy the rest of the weekend! Xoxo

Your DT is much neater than ours is, and looks to be better stocked as well. I will say our local one has come a long way, I was thoroughly disappointed when it first opened, there seemed to be no merchandise for months!

I can't be 100% sure but Dollarama has the eyelash trim in a little kit, with knitting needles, but it's a 3 pack and I think there may have been a white. I am totally the same.....I do NOT want to see Christmas items this early in the year lol, but Halloween items I could see year round LMAO!!!
Bought the plain white earbuds for a plane ride. They worked great for about 3 uses, and then crapped out.
The color workshop brand is what walmart sells at Christmas, the makeup kits in that feature/seasonal section.

I love to check in with your hauls to see if I need to cross the border & head up to Welland or Niagara Falls! I also love Dollarama, my husband loves the one brand of cookies they carry! Happy Canada Day! And NO to the christmas wrapping paper & pool noodles that is just WRONG!

I've never seen a DT with a huge area with canvases and paint like your DT. And we have tons of DTs here in Rochester NY. In fact we don't have any canvases or paint in any of ours

Hi Canada! How are you? Happy Canada to you! When I saw your Dollar Tree it looked familiar, and I was wondering where you are from, then I saw all the Canada Day items! I'm from Philly, PA and I kept seeing familiar places on Sensational Finds, then I found out she is from Philly! You can check out her channel if you like. She tries out a lot of the skin stuff and she lets you know what's good and what's not worth the dollar!

I wonder if they will change their name to the $1.25 tree when they go up on price everyplace. Things still a buck here in South Carolina. I do not know if I would shop as much as I do now if they go up in price on their items.
Pat when our DT opened locally, approx. 2 years ago, the prices started at $1.25 right from the beginning, nothing was ever a dollar.
Our Dollarama chain here in Canada opened some years ago with $1 items, then within approx. a year, their items went up to $1.25, so now Dollarama's prices range anywhere from $1.25 to $4.00.
I understand that the DTs in larger Canadian cities, are following suit and rolling out a higher priced area in stores, where items will be up to $5.
We have no true dollar stores in my area of central Canada at least!

i use the laundry detergent and the fabric softener too. at first i just used it for towels and my dogs blankies...now i use it for all my laundry. it seems fine. no complaints. also, Christmas wrap next to pool noodles is just wrong. lol.

Hi Karen, great question. Pocket letters are just a form of penpal mail in the form of little paper crafts ❤️ You typically exchange a Pocket Letter with another PL maker ✨ I hope this helps!

The DT in my area opened with everything being $1.25, items were never one dollar. I have learned that in larger cities here in Canada, DT is rolling out a program where they have a higher price area of the store. Items in that area will be up to $5.

A pocket letter is a craft thing.. its like a trading card sleeve and you decorate all the little pockets, and usually mail it to someone. Thats basically all i know about it.

Nancy when the Dollar Tree opened in our city a couple years ago, it opened with everything being $1.25, items never were

We have a chain called Dollarama in Canada as well, we had those in our community prior to DT opening, and when they first opened, items were $1. Then they slowly started introducing items for $1.25 and more. Now, the lowest priced items at Dollarama are $1.25, and go up to $4.00, so you have to look at price tags just like anywhere else!
The new colour workshop makeup isn’t very good. Shoppers sells their makeup during the holidays. Happy Canada Day!!
