I certainly remember this programme as a child and have watched series 6 and 7. What strikes me is the entertainment from the players thoughts. They were real showmen and great that the outsiders won both series. Great uploads, thank you
They actually added the commentary after the game so when he said that he already knew he'd lost. They didn't actually take it through his thoughts when he played the losing moves. The biggest blunder appeared to be pushing the b-pawn according to the analysis engine. Not trading queens was not a blunder, in fact Qg5 is the engine's top move.

Yes please! Watched all of 6 and 7 now.
This would be the last ever edition of the Master Game, as they filmed a series in 1983 but it was not shown in the UK due to TV strikes.
