Hello @@rarebanana for bashing the plastic might be better but i bash without problems with the metal upgrades only thing i did is i had do put a thicker screw in the front A arm where it ataches to the steering cup, but that was caused by a full throtle against a curb and the screw popped out of the threads, the plastic ones maybe survived maybe not, i only had to force a 3mm in the 2.5mm hole didnt need a tap and i have been in the bmx track and passed with flying colours, so the metal parts work amazing aswell. Thanks for asking if you buy the kit please use my link if you cant find it pls ask me.
@@Fast_Lane_RC Okay cool, thanks! The steering links keep on popping off with every minor hit and it's driving me crazy. Maybe I'll buy the metal kit and just replace the steering aspect of the car with metal parts and save the parts for later use
The car looks amazing with those blue arms. What are the clearances between parts? Im asking because there are so big clearances everywhere on my car with plastic arms and Im gonna to use some distance shims. Because especially rear wheels wobbles like a looooot 😊 Did you try to eliminate wheel wobbling by adding some shims between small pin (nut) and the bearing? If yes what size did you've used? THX
@@kultus26 yes i done this, in the rear you do just like i show in this video ruclips.net/user/shortsT-nIyNIiMII?feature=share On the outside it makes pressure when you tighten the wheel nut also works but its better to put the shims on the cup side. The shims are m5x7x0.2mm and also buy the m4x6x0.2, i did order the smaller ones cause i think they will fit better but without trying i cant say for sure. So order the two dimensions its not expensive. s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DdjOWS7 Hope it helps you, if you need anything else feel free to ask. Thanks for watching.
Oh I forgot maybe I already saw it, I saw like hundred of videos about RC cars as Im solving more issues at the same time 😂 perfect I thought it will be like this, I will buy the bigger package (more sizes) as I will try to put some around M3 pins holding arms to eliminate even more clearance but leaving enought free movement. THX I will let you know how it worked...I forgot, did you already use shims besides differentials holded in sasi? It could eliminate differential moving in sasi and lower wearing of gears a little bit. There should be some 10x12x0.2 shim or something like that
@@kultus26 yes i also did this but in the 1:10 scale and installed shims in the diff but didnt have the time to edit the video unfortenetly. You can shim it in the diff cup removing the circlip inside the diff and also between the diff case and the diff to remove lateral movement.
