During WW2 more gas rations were given to trucks over cars that's why we find old coups and sedans cut in half and a truck box mounted to them. Still finding them from time to time even though they were "modified" before any of us were born. As usual, nice job on the video Dolloff.
The first Stuabaker you showed was a beautiful car. I'm a guy who likes the Art decor look. Those Ed's you showed are some good looking cars . I'd take any of them. Thanks for your time and the videos . I enjoy watching you show us the old car salvage yards. Wishing you and your family and Merry Christmas and hopefully a wonderful new year.
... I think Franklins were built over by Syracuse NY .. neat stop there I dont remember the 81 bypass but do remember the state scale south of town and how annoying they were ..!
.. I recognize the Chrysler like a 30 Series 66 with the silverdome engine ? the Polara had all those pushbutton things in the dash and the Monza Buick Skyhawk I remember dating my girlfied in one she had stick shift-n-stuff I think she would haul grain in those old semis also ..!
Nice walk through time.Great projects.
What a fascinating selection of cars. Amazing condition too, as you mentioned. Loved the art deco Studebaker and the 4CV.
Thanks for what you do!
Interesting roadside stop.
