Just subscribed, I like the Vario also I had a eclipse with the Seiko vh31 4hz movement I won it in a RUclips giveaway and sold it.. Noe I wish I still had it! I will be checking out the Empire... Thanks good video!
That depends on the movement and the general price of it. Sometimes I order in small quantities (5 or less). I've bought from Otto Frei, Esslinger, eBay, and Star Time Supply. This came from Star Time, but to order from there you have to setup an account with plenty of info and they will likely call to verify you are a watchmaker of some sort or a member of NAWCC before fully activating your account, because they only like dealing with other businesses, not general retail.
Thanks for all the details on the tools you were using. Good stuff!
glad you got something out of it
I am trying to get into the repair side of things with my watches. This video had a lot of good information and was helpful!
Glad you found it and that it was helpful. Hope you stick around :)

I am so glad u were able to revive the watch rather than trashing it in the bin!
Revived and getting lots of wear. Quite enjoying it and look forward to doing the full review.
Hi, I was wondering where you source your movements from, especially if you're only buying one at a time?!

Would the process be similar for an automatic movement such as Seiko NH38A?
It would be similar, it just has a rotor on the movement. And the case/dial screws might be in different locations than what is shown here.
