If you've never had a mooncake I suggest you try one, as they're many flavours so you'll always find something that you'll like 👌 I hope you enjoy the video and have a great day! I have a Bilibili chanel now, it's called '阿拉夫HappyAraf'
@@lovethesleep5381 Cheers mate 🙏 In the city I'm in not so much, but I'm an hour away on the train from Shanghai and it's pretty good there as it's a very busy city
The ones I tried when I worked in China were EXTREMELY dense. Don't do what I did and take a massive bite and spend the next 10 mins trying to chew it🤣
I've never tried the flaky or the snow skin mooncakes. I've only had the traditional ones. My favourite fillings are lotus paste with two egg yolks and also the mixed nut ones with egg yolks. Do non-Chinese like mooncakes? I somehow doubt it.
Ah nice! I like the traditional sweet ones a lot, really tasty 👌 Well when I lived in the UK I didn't even know what a mooncake was, so I don't think many in other countries know about them, but they should start selling them in big supermarkets back home, as I think a lot of people will buy them
Chinese chess is even more complicated, the variations of moves are almost multiplied, and that is despite the fact that there are millions of moves in traditional chess.
Basically you have the Jiangsu style moon cake and Cantonese moon cake in your video. Both are traditional, it is just the ingredients and production process are different. In Shanghai, you also have fresh meat moon cake.
why do they have mickey mouse on them moon cakes lol also wouldnt it be backgammon or chess the old guys be playing with the board games? *is there any moon cakes that are like a victoria sponge cake lol*

Yes I only like the sweet mooncakes too!
Yes I'd say I like the sweet ones too 👌 But I'm going to have to give the savory ones a chance by trying them haha
Sunday With Araf. Hope you're having a good one.
Leettssssss goooooooo! Yeah spot on mate cheers, just came back from Shanghai, it's great there! Hope all is well with you!
@arafsadventures life has its challenges. just got to keep pushing forward.
If they are not that expensive I'd like to get some 😂😂😂
@@xinyi1111 Yeah the ones that weren't in the big boxes were so cheap!
Love how you have made up names for all the buildings- the pants building and the bottle opener. They should be officially renamed 😂😂
It's easier for me to remember them that way 🤣 If they change the names to make it easier for me then it would be an honour 🙏haha
❤❤❤
❤️😋
You're a legend mate! Hey I was just wondering, how's the dating scene there for Expats?

Yeah you're right they are very dense. I made that mistake once and I couldn't speak for like 30 mins 😩🤣

@@azharidris7092 Yeah did research and you're right 👍 I'll try and learn it so I can play with them one day maybe haha

@@madhatterzz Haha yeah I thought it was a bit random if it was actually Micky 😅 Someone said the game was mahjong
LOL, it's National Day now. You are still celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival. Is it half a month late.
And the moon cakes after the Mid-Autumn Festival are like Christmas trees after Christmas. They can only be burned.
This was recorded a few weeks ago mate, I can make a video and edit in the day haha
I ate them all a few weeks ago haha
they play either Chinese chess or Go (board games).
Looks very interesting and fun
