  • Summery evening in April with boats coming off the water, the first frogs, more loons, killdeer, and the usual ducks and geese. The boats cause crisscross ripples at the shoreline. Closing out with Jupiter, the crescent moon, Sirius, Arcturus, and quite a few fly-bys. The Sirius quadrant yields the closest fly-by I’ve seen since I started sky-watching, and the Arcturus quadrant sports a fly-by about every two minutes-they can be seen best on a larger monitor.
I finally made it to Lake Waconia. 🙏 I wasn’t aware of the town of Waconia until I met Roxi at work in 2017. She was an exceptional lady and she left us too soon.
2:11 the song I picked for Roxi
I picked a new song from Epidemic Sound for Roxi’s video-Mercies New Morning. The song was tagged ‘religious music,’ so I’m guessing it’s a song inspired by Lamentations chapter 3 verse 23.
    25:44 crisscross ripples
    1:01:53 Jupiter
    1:10:20 Sirius and fly-by
As bright as this fly-by looks on camera, I couldn’t see it looking at the sky.
    1:13:21 still Sirius
    1:14:43 Arcturus
I think the larger lower light is Arcturus.
    1:21:44 loons calling
They seem disturbed. I admit I did ask the guardians of the lake to make the loons call, but I didn’t mean to scare them. 😂 Maybe they weren’t scared.

🍽️food photos from People’s Organic, Eden Prairie, MN
There must be a good restaurant closer to Lake Waconia, but People’s Organic is the last place I saw Roxi and I love their food, so I wanted to mention it.
