I very much agree. I actually find the Linux UI and Leena Launchers very interesting but I just don't think I can bring myself to let go of my Nova....

I use Evie Launcher, and IMO it is better than Nova Launcher, it feels way more smoother than Nova, and looks better and more uniform than Nova, it doesn't have as much customization as Nova, but still is way better in my opinion.

I've been using Nova Launcher [Pro] for years with basically the same kind of setup. I also use the still epically great and unique Multipicture Live Wallpaper which allows me to have individual control of each home screen's wallpaper using my own custom pics and use double tap to selectively change some home screen wallpapers while leaving my most loved screen wallpapers unchanged. I use infinite scroll so I don't use left swipe newsfeeds or cards. Aside from the most critical and often used apps, I throw everything in folders. Boring, I know, but absolutely consistent for me throughout the years. I can almost use the device in the dark at this point.
I have tried, on and off, nearly every 'droid launcher out there over the years but always end up coming back to the one and only king, Nova.
So, what I'm curious about is this: How often do you folks actually change your launchers, spending the time in totally revamping [or painstakingly trying to rebuild your fave setup] with each new launcher?
1 - Constantly [let's say about once every two weeks]
2- Often [about once every month or two]
3 - Sometimes [about once every six months]
4 - Never [like me, you find a launcher and a layout that you love and you stick with it, not including basic changes like using icon packs and such]

Way too many people didn't try the TSF Shell yet.
Too much 3d shizz
I've used TSF since it came out. IMO it was the best. Until my latest Samsung S8 update and now approx 50% of my icons (default icons) don't work (they are just little Androids). This annoyed me for months. I though TSF will provide a update and fix this. But they haven't. I've left messages on their FB page and in the Google Play store, but no reply. I now realise that the creators have gone AWOL since about 2015... Very sad, I wish it was still being updated and improved.

I have used TSF for a long time, yeah, a few of my apps show up as little Android guys, but the reason why I stubbornly hold on to it is the full customization of it. I heavily use a lot of widgets, and TSF so far has been the only launcher that jives with all of them.

Dude! Thanks for mentioning that new smart Launcher. I didn't knew they released it. I've been a long user of smart Launcher 3 , but its category list were on the side of the screen and it was hard to switch between it bcz of my big screen. And i really wanted an option to to change that position of the category. Now smart Launcher 5 have it.
