I just want to say a big thank you. I have been too afraid to drive most of my life. I was 32 years old and still never driven anywhere. I ended up passing my learning test after a few instructor lessons, and I purchased a car - but I was still too afraid to drive. I watched all of your videos and it helped me conquer my fear. I now drive everywhere. It's been a month now since I started driving every day. Thank you so much.
I'm 47 and had my permit about 20 some years ago!!! Almost ready to take my driving test but still a little hesitant on parallel parking?? Some days I can get it perfectly. Some days I have loads of trouble. Trying to watch videos and learn how to parallel park the correct way the first time I take my test. Any suggestions or videos to watch??? Thanks
Did you take your test? Don’t think about it as you must be perfect. It’s more you can’t be awful. I hit cone on mine and still passed overall. Realize your car may have different access points to look at. It helps a ton to have someone watch you because it’s very clear from outside when to turn wheel and take note of what you see in mirror. Not many people are amazing at parallel parking. Trust yourself. 2-3 feet away. See cone in small back side triangle window or very corner and crank it over then when you are 45 degree angle start cranking it the other way and you should slide in well. If not then adjust a little. Like try turning wheel completely stopped then going or try doing it while gradually moving as you are cranking wheel to the left. I find that I do best to do it all in one motion.

nice videos, could you make some on driving on a high way ( staying centered at higher speeds) or judging distances on streets. When im driving, Im unable to judge if i am close to the car that im is parked on the side
I know you wrote it a while ago and I’m sure with time you got better. I had that issue with semi on highway. Very nervous staying in middle of lane. Some say try to imagine a line in the center of the lane going through the center of the windshield. I look at my mirrors. You can see the dotted lines and where your wheels are in comparison. Hit the rumble strips on purpose so you see how far over you feel when you are just going off the road
My test is in 7 days😥🤮 I’m sooo nervous and even feel nauseous lol I’m a pretty good driver but I just can’t control my nerves when I’m nervous ! I hope I pass ! I really need my drivers license 😪 Please wish me luck everyone 🙏
I feel ashamed for asking this question. But I cant find the answer in visuals. Some ppl get on the wrong ramp when entering a highway and end up driving on the opposite side. I know of someone who went on to the highway from the off ramp because it was her first time attempting the highway and she was very nervous. I never driven on the highway before but her expierence got me thinking. How is it possible for a completely sober person to get on the wrong ramp? Are on and off ramps confusing to differentiate? Oh and im asking here cause its your latest vid lol.

I practiced using empty gallon plastic milk jugs and I went to a playground and borrowed the sand. It held the long wooden stick I stuck in it
I thought about saying sand in the video too, but in a city, not as easy to find as water.
