Many thanks for showing the view from Carn a Mhaim. I visited the hill in August my last Munro after 41years, so nice to ses the view north. We had clagg with the odd view of the Devils Point. The track from Derry Lodge has large gaps to cross for drainage, depends on you and your biking skills, many abandon the bike to start walking. The track narrows with small trees near to the Luibeg burn ford, sticks useful or go for the bridge. Midges at the ford are really vicious, members of the 'Midge-ahideen' so be warned. Keep those videos coming.
Nice to see another film from the Gorms. It is a place I enjoy visiting but as you say the walks can be demanding at times. Maybe biting a bit more off than I could chew in my upcoming film. Still a great area to explore and looking forward to having some quality winter days up there this year. Still have Ben McD to do yet as well. Atb
Great video Murray, I have had no proper internet over the last couple of weeks after moving onto a narrow-boat, just purchased a router so now can view you on a proper screen (laptop) not the phone, now tracking back on a couple of videos you have just done, keep up your good work! 🙂
Perfect moment for another amazing video😊 Going back to Scotland tomorrow and cant wait to go up the mountains again so thanks for posting another inspiring video and getting me into the perfect mood for my trip. 🗻🌍
Another cracking video Murray, a very enjoyable watch. Thankfully I wasn't the one doing the heather and bog bashing, had enough bog for the year yesterday doing the Tyndrum 4. Cracking views from Carn a'Mhaim too. I bet you woulda paid at least a tenner for a shot of a bike for the return leg! Cheers!
Great wee film as always, I'm in the lake District just now with the family and have managed a few early morning walks and have all been knee deep in bracken so paranoid about wee beastie's. Thanks for sharing and take care Atb Brian.
"Dont do it the way i did it" ha ha! Brilliant quote Murray :) Great film! I love it up there, That place offers so much. Yes the walks in an out are long but well worth it. This is a great Munro, Thanks for showing it, peter :))
Good stuff. My home turf. Locally the entire ridge with the Corbett at the west end is called The Sgoran Dubh. A great winter walk and cross country ski route. Walk along the track past the Chest of Dee and climb up from that end. Much easier and the worst of the heather bashing is then downhill at the end of the day. Once did that walk in knee deep snow all the way. I must have been younger and fitter back then. :)
wildfisher I’ll need to look into that route - it was much easier when I did it in freezing conditions a few years back 😂 (maybe just using the conditions as an excuse - maybe I’m just getting older :) thanks for watching ATB Murray
William Donnelly hi William - one of my first ever outdoors adventures was to walk the Lairig Ghru with friend who were doing their DoE. I remember rounding the corner near where I was in this vlog and being blown away by the pass and the mountains on either side - maybe that’s where it all started for me ⛰🤔 Thanks for watching ATB Murray
On the Adventure Trails - Scotland thanks Folks - that’s another lengthy day - don’t think I could walk for a week after that day on Angels 👼 Ridge 😂😂 looking forward to your vlog 👍 M
Had to look twice at your thumbnail, I thought you were carrying a crowbar. 😂 Good day out Murray, Kev and I done something similar after a night in Bob Scott's. Threw The Devil's Winky into the mix as well.

Thanks again Murray for sharing. Have you ever walked all the way through the Cairngorms from the Breamar side to Glenmore / Coylumbridge side?

At least no rain. Mountain bikes are a big help for all those hills in the South Cairngorms. Some of the walk ins are ridiculous.
Nice, done all the peaks there a few times but think Carn a' Mhaim is my favourite, bit of a bugger for false peaks though lol
Rob Singfield it’s a fine fine peak - reckon I may return in the coming months ❄️🤞

Walk With Wallace 👣 good effort getting in the Devils Winky too ! It’s a long walk and heading back out I was wishing I had a bike 😂😂
@@ScotlandsMountains a cheeky bike left at Derry Lodge makes the difference. 😁
Watched a few of your video videos . Going up there in a couple weeks time. I was just wondering what your trousers/ jacket is thanks .
Hi - Trousers are Rab Torque pants and the Jacket is an older style Rab Vapour rise (I think :))

@@ScotlandsMountains Hi thanks for your reply cheers happy hiking
Bheinn Bhrotain and Monadh Mor are two munros you forgot. As you say mh is pronounced v so it's pronounced Vaim to rhyme with lime.
