Nola pitched well, until he didn't. He should have never pitched the 7th inning. When he starts slogging and trudging around on the mound like he doesn't want to pitch anymore, you know it's time to take him out
We've all been excited about how well the Phils have been doing. Great starting pitching and great offense. In the post-season, even with Schwarber, JT, and Harper in the lineup, the games will be closer and my main concern is the bullpen. Sure, they look good when we have a 5 run lead. But, in 1 or 2 run games, our bullpen worries me

Phillies going to need stott, bohm and marsh and castellanos to carry the offense until the others are back.... People complain about bullpen but scoring 2 runs isnt going to win many games
This is the bummy Philly squad we know and love. The Bravos should be alright and within 2 games (if not up) to close out the first half. At least Philly is making the division race interesting but the Bravos will walk them down like we did the Mets years ago.

I don't understand what's wrong with a quality start....best game ever? No. But if you get a quality start out of your pitcher every game, then you should be pretty happy. Phillies could have easily won this game if a stung line drive doesn't get caught, with some better base running, or just even average offense, but let's throw Nola under the bus!
