I remember there used to be this old man singing solo and he would walk around from table to table for a bit. The show used to end with the band on this center, circular stage rising to towards the ceiling. I miss those days.
I miss the old version. This one isn't too bad. Kinda wish they had a slightly bigger band like they used to. Thank you for being the only one who filmed the whole show. I hate looking for a full BG show and finding only one or two minute shows
I got to come and watch this a few weeks ago and it was incredible! I loved it, it was great to hear all of the songs we would always dance to in celebration :) I was also pulled aside toward the end to do the polka which was incredibly fun!!! I definitely recommend the show!!
I saw the show on Saturday Aug 24, 2013 around 4:30 ish, LOVE IT !!! It was awesome and different. I was near the front row with my son and one of the female dancers was getting on me about saying Hoy Hoy Hoy loud enough.......it scared me and was funny at the same time too. I loved the spirit and skilled they showed.
I've thought about it but Das Festhaus is a terribly hard venue to film in and I still have other shows to get filmed before the main season ends. I'll see what I can do though- I do love me some This is Oktoberfest...
With every show, some of the songs in the middle are switched out. Maybe you'd like to take a couple different recordings and splice in some of the other songs not shown here?
It's sad that their Lederhosn aren't real or even made out of leather and the Dirndls are not traditional. They could do a lot better by actually following the bavarian tradition.

I've been to past shows and I have to say it was better the old way.
Didn't the stage use to be in the center and the band would get on and they would raise up. Then the others would dance below them?
It has a slight edge over OktoberZest I love both shows nonetheless.
