Hijab is not only compulsory in Islam but also in Christianity and in other non Muslim religions as could be seen in vecenten city where Nuns working with Pope are in full hijab and they also fully covered their body.

@@robertosborne7542 Dear brother as in your countary you have to obey countary laws either you like them or not for example you have to tragic law that when signe is red you have to stop
@@robertosborne7542 dear brother every countary has their own laws and all of them are for public benefit for example you have to stop on signel red light here you can't say to traffic sarjent that what's problem if I am not stop. Similarly Iran is an Islamic countary and in Islam hijab is a fundamental law. This binding is to develop culture to prevent a women and men from sins because in Islam sextual relations with other than wife is a sin.
Now if in a culture women is without hijab or have short clothes or nued the sextual feelings will rise and became more difficult to save a person from having sextual relations with any body either she is wife of some body.
Also in Islam main concept is of a life after this life where every body have to live for ever and the result of that life is based on this life in which we are passing these days. Therefore to make this culture a valued honourable and respectable culture not only Islam but other religions have some bindings and if these bindings are not obeyed there will be no difference between ahuman culture and a a animal culture.
