I've got an 89 accord, dual Weber DCOE carbs, manual swapped with an aluminum flywheel. She pulls hard for what it is and doesnt quit. 300k miles, had some minor refreshes but still original engine.
Most civic owners are 30 plus now with family and kids. We can now afford the old hobby better and we developed self control. The new hot headed risk takers of the car scene are 20 years olds in financed bmws.

EG’s are fun to drive, I had a an 5 speed EG Civic 4 door sedan EX, with ebay suspension and simple bolt on parts. I was always abusing it swimming every night. Very fun car to build and drive

This looks so bizarre to me, people in the US really don't know how to use the freeway. Over here in Europe this isn't even possible cause the right lane is packed, mid lane has a constant flow slightly faster and the left lane is either empty or only used for fast drivers. You literally can't go swimming here...
in seattle, there's what's called the "kanjo loop" which takes inspiration from the japanese highway hashirya use on night cruises, except its a freeway loop connecting 405-i-5 and i-90 and is basically one giant loop there you'll see everyone, but mostly honda's doing the seattle kanjo loop in the spirit of kanjo racers. It's actually amazing to see because the cutting has so much finesse but with a motorsports undertone
