Hello from Guernsey 🇬🇬 Geoff! My dad loves lemon and loves sultana fairy cakes so I’m going to make these for him !! Thank you for the recipe! Also - Not sure if you’re a football fan or not but let’s pray for victory tomorrow!! 🎉
Hello Geoff. I just😮 wanted to know has anyone ever told you that you are a wonderful in the kitchen. I love how these are simple and they have the lemon in them.
Good morning, Mr Cooper. Everything with dried fruit is so good but your recipes always surprise me even more, adding lemon to it, it must be delicious. I do need to bake these cakes as soon as possible. 😊Thank you as always.
Geoff, I notice you have a tablet with I assume are the recipes and a stylus pen. What is that tablet and app please? Also love how you show the ingredients and amounts. That’s very helpful. Stay well sir.
Hi Alan. It is actually a Kindel Scribe, which is a larger than usual Kindle that has the ability to take notes. I use it for that, and for reading ebooks. So I write out the recipes on that before I start making the videos.
Hi Christine. I hope you enjoy them. The little measuring cup is actually plastic. It is part of a 4 piece set by Oxo Good Grips. I bought it from Amazon.
Ohh this is a lovely idea! I bake for my choir so definitely giving these a try thanks Geoff x Can I ask please? Are you using a muffin tin? And what size paper cases are you using please? x
Hi Caz. I don't use a muffin tin, but a bun tin. The paper cases have the same base dimension as muffin cases. However they are only 1 inch/2.5cm tall. So you could use a muffin tin, and cut some muffin cases down. Or simply grease and flour the cups and put just that small amount of batter in each.
