@@erich3784 how is it cheapening the value of the achievement. They sell Godslayer for 400m that means that I got my Godslayer myself and that's worth 400m. You can always sell crowns. It would still be crazy expensive to buy a planesbreaker, sure, but if you are only after some perfected Bahseis or a particular skin, this a good option for people who dont have that much spare time, but wanna look fancy...

There is/was a set of players that bought "carries" not for truly getting carried through content, but just an easier way to get perfected gear without the grind hassle of finding 11 other good people to run a vTrial over and over. For example, you want that PFG Inferno staff, but don't want to grind once a week, so you buy a vSS run and get the perfected drops from 11 others on top of your chance of finding. The pricing now is so outrageously high that it is not even an option. Having run vRG multiple times without beging able to get or trade for perf Bahs' shoes, I would pay just to schedule a run for that. I will say also that one of the best things I have done to build friends in guild is joining progressive or vet trial groups. Costs zero gold and you get to meet a good range of guildies and enjoy their company.
I tanked a group that had dd with fancy titles, we struggled in a fairly simple dungeon. They obviously had paid for the titles, I kept thinking that's false advertising lol.
So from someone that did carries on ps4 na and pc na, ps4 na had carry groups undercutting each other rather than the pretty normalized price fixing that was occurring on pc. Granted I haven’t played either platform in 2ish years, but that’s probably also why ps4/ps5 might be a bit lower.

When there is so much gold at stake, I can see why there was so much drama from one carry guild to enforces prices and basically want to prevent competition. How sad is your life if you make you earn a "living" through carries? I mean yes, you play a game for a living but you have to stoop pretty low to do that...
I'm confused on how a group would even go about selling Emperor. The person who is paying others to get them that achievement would still have to somehow manage to be at the top of the boards, right? So, a lot of effort would still be required, on the part of the one who's seeking the achieve. It just seems like it would be pretty fiddley to keep a specific person at the top of the board, especially if said person _needs_ a carry in the first place.
This is why I stopped playing endgame, nothing difficult from group content has any meaning since you can just buy it. This is why I support crown crates, you can pay the service provider instead of funding people who think playing a video game professionally is a job. Streamers are entertainers so that is totally different. People complain about crown crates but the truth is, if an MMO is not sub based, it's going to have lots of micro transactions. And instead of saying "I want to put in 100 hours" for a mount or skin, you could get a job, which will provide to your community and society, then buy a skin or mount.
As someone who has done my fair share of carries (I love 4 man carries as an excuse to basically do 3 man dungeon trifectas as a challenge), I think the discrepancy in price between console and PC shows how much of a stranglehold crown prices have on the whole system. There is a HUGE culture of using steam "exploits" to buy crowns for pennies on the dollar, but every time ZOS closes one of these backdoors, the price of crowns jumps and carry groups raise prices by an equivalent ratio. And then, the economy follows in suit with crafting mats and etc raising in the process. Maybe my opinion is even more controversial, but I think ZOS has to acknowledge the crown to gold trading in the game and make it an official mechanic to stabilize the prices. The alternative is to ban it in its entirety, but from my experience with other MMOs that have tried this, it never ends well and just makes the black market all the worse.
I really think crown for gold trading should be banned. Just look at what's happened with WOW in regards to paid carries and buying/selling gold for real money. Although the current grey-market system in ESO only involves the premium currency that you can buy with real money, and not real money directly like with WOW. At least, not yet. Carry groups usually end up being run like businesses and people always find a way when there's money to be made. Edit: I stand corrected. There already exists highly organized paid carry services. Just did a google search. 24.99 for a Vet HM dungeon run on one particular website.
@@LiniFox are you saying no to statement 1, statement 2, or statement 3? because i am set on my morality but flexible on the value of millions of gold.
What's the difference of cloudrest +1,+2,+3, as a pvp player I am interested in the sets in this trial and with limited time would need a carry to get the sets.
@@charlottedazy17 On vet you get +2 purple jewellery (+ weapons, body pieces) and HM (+3) gold jewellery (+weapons and body pieces). +1 are body pieceses and weapons, +0 weapons
Ah ok, would only need all the sets gear , the quality level I could improve myself, would likely drop in the wrong traits anyway so would likely re do with reconstruction. Thanks guys .
I have around 36 million gold from 5 years of crafting writs and selling trash loot. I have never done Trials nor the DLC dungeons since I treat ESO primarily as an ever evolving solo game. Seeing how Trial gear is very much in demand, where do I sign up for the carry?
Just go join a craglorn lfg for a normal trial. Don’t waste money getting a carry if all you want is gear. The content is nowhere near as hard as people make it out to be. The only thing I would maybe consider buying is a spot on a trifecta run but even then idk
The lone mad lad is only somewhat right, pugging in craglorn groups can very often go very wrong and turn very toxic due to being unable to complete the content. And then when you finally get the complete rng screws you on the loot. With a carry you're going to get a faster clear, most likely clear on the first time, and get 11 more rolls at the drops you want.
Something that I don’t see people talk about on this subject is that their is a percentage of players who play ESO that have disabilities that make doing some of the end game (trials) content extremely difficult and one of the ways they get it done is by paying for the carry.I don’t see it as a knock on em cause everybody in this game has needed help at one time or another but just don’t rape em with the prices
vRG? 3 mil ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND! im sorry ps4 users but you are being ripped off with these carry prices vMoL on the other hand you if you get all the motifs on PC EU you might actually make more money selling those motifs than you pay for the carry! imagine getting carried and getting stonks at same time! (nvm they pumped up the price) Now 8 mil for vCR1 is just perfect example of a scam on PC
And People complain after next Patch Titles etc. have No Worth anymore...they already don't anyways lol Half of people didn't aquire anything themselfs anyways lol Not a fan of carrys tbh.
Lol. paying millions for something they haven't earned. If I had so much gold, I'd buy the massive daggerfall castle with it (like I did with the ebonhearth and aldmeri massive houses). Not only that, but you can only use 1 title at a time and most players don't care about what other's usetitle as title, since it's too hard to remember what title was obtained how. All those vet things I got, I got them with merits. Wenever I see another player with such things I always consider the possibility of the lack of merits. I've seena player wearing the vbrp skin. In a dungeon. I knew he didn't earn it since the very 1st dungeon figth. Buying these things doesn't mean earning them. Told him he was too weak for the dungeon (he truely was. Keeping him in the group = carrying him in vet maarselock). He started bragging about his dps being high, about all the vet things he did, but if the starting mobs can kill him in a couple of hits, no matter what he says, he's gonna get one shot half of the time being dead for more time in the figth then the time passed alive. He challenged me to prove he's a better dd then I am. I told him to show me the most difficult thing he could solo. He soloed a dlc wb. I humiliated him soloing a the 1st boss of naa with ease (i wanted to sho him a solo of that boss in vet, but the humiliation would be big enough already). He nearly rage quited saying he could crush me in a duel. I first showed I could survive him, even if he used his ultimate. Then, I summuned my bear. I didn't attack him. I just sent my bear after him. My bear was doing more damage to him then reverse. He then ragequited and sended hate message on my psn. Sometimes truth hurt. The truth was he vastly overestimated himself. Finishing a vet arena/trial you paid to get carried in, doesn't mean you're good enough to do it. He showed a screen of his dps. 80k +. Thing is, dps test can be cheesed and no matter how great your dps is, it's useless if you can't survive. If the player with the biggest dps of the game get killed, until reanimated, he'll do 0 damage like every other dead player.
What sort of idiot 'pays' anything to be 'carried' in a game? :D If you can't do it, just don't do it or, maybe, try and get better so you and your friends CAN do it. Join a guild with a progression group or whatever.
some ppl don't have friends to clear it, and people keep asking (LINK ACHIEVEMENT) which is bullshit because most ppl that want to do it its because they haven't done it yet. Once they done it got title etc etc, then you can join a group for vet trials easily.
Just wait till titles are shared account wide. All those prices will triple the price. Who in the right mind would want to spend theses money? Would rather buy a house with those prices than give it to theses smocks. How eso is at a downfall. Time is gold. Even the traders for eso they ask for buy ins but lately I been encountering traders asking for no buy ins to trade. These guilds are just being far just to flex on their homes that they got.
36 MILLION GOLD?? how do people even make this much money? I've been playing nearly 2 years and I have just around 3 million and that's by selling nearly every crafting mat I come across😵
Yeah that’s what I’m curious about as well. Seems like in the amount of time you spend trying to get enough gold to buy the carry you could just prog the trial and do it yourself.
It takes a while but its doable. Selling high end stuff like chromium platings, new motifs, aetherial dusts, alch mats, attunable stations can earn you millions of gold together. It just needs a bit of time, a bit of luck and lots surveys\writs..... and not buying houses.
On pc eu its easy just sell hakeijos on the guildtrader for 45-50k gold each. you can farm 50-60k telvar in a hour so you get around 500-600k gold per hour
@@HammerThaGod nope lol. I actually haven’t play the game since last September. Personally I feel like the quality started going down and once I realized and accepted spell crafting isn’t coming anytime soon I stopped playing. 😅
I see you don't have godslayer on there I can tell you that I have asked a few large guilds that sell it on ps4/ps5 NA I have been told 180mil to 210mil
I fully support simple convenience carries (like needing perfected gear). It doesn't really hurt anyone to get carried through standard veteran content. I firmly believe the integrity of the end game trial community is lacking. Selling the pinnacle end game titles/skins/mounts completely devalues them. Prices are going up because of inflation but the value is lower than ever because the impact of being a "Godslayer" is diluted for every player that sports an unearned title/mount. It would be more than safe to assume some of the players regularly participating in carry sales are converting their gold earnings into cash on third party sites.
Bot to mention that pc is so much easier to get these achievements. Just started on pc from ps4 two weeks ago and have all vet trial skins already in two weeks with no carries. There are so many modes u can hit 80k almost day one as soon as u hit 160. Takes real skill to do these on console
Its just so funny to see this kinda shit in the easiest n and most chill mmorpg of the world. There actually almost zero competion in the game pvp or pve. And people buy these carries?? I bet they give money to all nigerian princes in the world aswell
this is mind boggling. i've only been playing for like a month and would never in a million years consider even entertaining paying gold to be carried through content in this game, let alone a fucking BILLION???? lmao like i'm still not even sure if this is all a big joke or not
Because of lack of good end game players I completely dropped open raiding guilds after I started doing carries. I like to try my best when doing trials or dungeons, but in open raids it feels like half of people just don't give a damn and doing same mistakes over and over, hoping to literally get carried for vCR HM for free or whatever content you're doing. Carry groups don't have that problem, because of near-scorepush requirements to join the carry run and strike system (at least on PC EU). It’s not even about gold, but about enjoyment of playing in good group where everyone want to complete the content and not playing with xynode's build. To salty big ben fans I can only say "git gud".
wtf are those EU prices, fucking NA guilds ive seen advertising in craglorn sell vas skin for like 10 mil and vcr+3 for like 15mil edit: (didnt watch the video but yeah you go over all the pc na prices at the end)
As an Xbox player, I knew carries were expensive for dungeon and trial clears and hm’s and everything but omg I had no idea they were THAT expensive for certain things. Wow. How do people get 20-50 million gold to buy some of those?!?!
There's two peaks of making gold in eso and most players don't want anything to do with either and that's carrying and flipping, one requires you to know the economy keep up with and hunt deals like your life depends on it. While the other requires you to become so good at pve that you're confident you can burst a boss down in a certain time while making sure you or the person you're carrying doesn't die to mechanics. These people tend to be the customers of the other group carriers are constantly updating gear from the flippers and the flippers are buying completes they can easily afford but don't have the time to do.
just create several characters and level the crafting lines to the maximum so you will drop resources passively and do your writs every day (don't forget the surveys) with all those mats if you sell them in guild traders you can make more than 1m in about 2 weeks. There are also other ways to make gold, but this is the simplest and requires almost no effort, only knowledge of the materials market.

How sad is your life if you make you earn a "living" through carries? I mean yes, you play a game for a living but you have to stoop pretty low to do that...
Wow sounds pathetic to me
Going to have to start charging for carries now I guess, lol
So who wants to carry my lazy ass to Godslayer now? :)
That's interesting
I know a friend he charged 20k per person for a normal skyreach run last year
Should do a video of buying gold from 3rd party websites... soyou can do conversions for cost of real money for achievement?
The moral thing is do your best no matter who is on your team. Even if they suck and don't pay.
Do your best even if you inadvertently carry.
Millions of gold is tens of thousands of dollars.
@@errabbitc no it isn’t lmao
@@LiniFox are you saying no to statement 1, statement 2, or statement 3? because i am set on my morality but flexible on the value of millions of gold.
What's the difference of cloudrest +1,+2,+3, as a pvp player I am interested in the sets in this trial and with limited time would need a carry to get the sets.
With +2 and +3 you get the jewelry, in blue for +2 and in violet for +3
I believe there is nothing special for +1
@@charlottedazy17 On vet you get +2 purple jewellery (+ weapons, body pieces) and HM (+3) gold jewellery (+weapons and body pieces).
+1 are body pieceses and weapons, +0 weapons
For loot already answered but the difference is you take in the mini bosses in the main fight.
Ah ok, would only need all the sets gear , the quality level I could improve myself, would likely drop in the wrong traits anyway so would likely re do with reconstruction.
Thanks guys .
The less bosses you do at the beginning the more join the last boss fight, and the harder it gets but the better loot you get.
Honestly if you are on Xbox I’ll personally find you a group if you need
Just flip items and u will make millions anyways . Free achievements since zos allows it . EZ CLAP game
Don’t understand why they so expensive,it ain’t real money. I can’t afford carries so I either complete the content myself or don’t do it at all
vRG? 3 mil ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND! im sorry ps4 users but you are being ripped off with these carry prices
vMoL on the other hand you if you get all the motifs on PC EU you might actually make more money selling those motifs than you pay for the carry!
imagine getting carried and getting stonks at same time! (nvm they pumped up the price)
Now 8 mil for vCR1 is just perfect example of a scam on PC
Usually we keep motifs in carry runs; most guilds/ discords do
@@LiniFox ok so that takes out the only reason to buy carries thanks.
Bought 5 carryies for Vbrp 1,6 million because I was to lazy to run it myself
And People complain after next Patch Titles etc. have No Worth anymore...they already don't anyways lol Half of people didn't aquire anything themselfs anyways lol Not a fan of carrys tbh.
Not like they just wanted to have that sweet sweet title to get validation from others
Glad I dropped this game now
Lol. paying millions for something they haven't earned.
So does this mean you have to get paid to carry to afford paying for carries?
No, flipping is crazy profitable and the other cash cow and ESO and that's how most come to afford carries
It's called buying from a third party site or scamming new players
Yeah that’s what I’m curious about as well. Seems like in the amount of time you spend trying to get enough gold to buy the carry you could just prog the trial and do it yourself.
There are some traders I know on PC EU that sell 40+ mill per week regularly. Even if 20% of it is profits, it's 8 mill per week.
Who has 10m to just blow away on a trail carry? Damn lol
Carries are for noobs :)
Honestly these prices look very reasonable for clears
I know only 2 groups on xbox na that have planesbreaker
Can anyone direct me to PS4 emperor carry?
PS4 NA
You ever get that carry?
@@HammerThaGod nope lol. I actually haven’t play the game since last September. Personally I feel like the quality started going down and once I realized and accepted spell crafting isn’t coming anytime soon I stopped playing. 😅
I see you don't have godslayer on there I can tell you that I have asked a few large guilds that sell it on ps4/ps5 NA I have been told 180mil to 210mil
If I am paying millions I better get all the loot from each player or gfy.!.
You do
I fully support simple convenience carries (like needing perfected gear).
People really buying for stuff that you can make with the guild? xD
I think this is crap not against it but still yall need better freinds.....
Huh?! TTT cheaper than GH?! (Ps eu)
Nefas should do a carry, every one He carry gets banned, make it a stealth mission.
Carries arent bannable
@@LiniFox shame, they should be
7 mill?
Talk about making titles worthless. To bad ZOS allow this shit.
Sorry but there are achievements that cannot be obtained by everyone.
@@canisinumbra which are pointless
@@denizforst Idc just saying
this is mind boggling. i've only been playing for like a month and would never in a million years consider even entertaining paying gold to be carried through content in this game, let alone a fucking BILLION???? lmao like i'm still not even sure if this is all a big joke or not
I love goldddddddd
We know...
lmao
Do they actually use real gold for their coins?
I wanna buy a vKA gear run on Xbox. Someone hit me up. I already have a hard mode clear on first 2 bosses, but I want gear...
People actually do this crap? LoL. So lazy…
Tbh I think azulas carries are quite fair compared to other guilds on ps eu
wtf are those EU prices, fucking NA guilds ive seen advertising in craglorn sell vas skin for like 10 mil and vcr+3 for like 15mil
edit: (didnt watch the video but yeah you go over all the pc na prices at the end)
It takes me months to make 100k gold
Lol I traded 1 million to some random guy in crag once
just create several characters and level the crafting lines to the maximum so you will drop resources passively and do your writs every day (don't forget the surveys) with all those mats if you sell them in guild traders you can make more than 1m in about 2 weeks. There are also other ways to make gold, but this is the simplest and requires almost no effort, only knowledge of the materials market.
When I get paid by Nefas for a carry run my life will be complete.
Lmao
I think Carries are a perfectly valid way of making gold.
