You are correct that the plus model does not provide phantom power the X model does, from the Headrush support page. "Can I use microphones that require Phantom Power (+48v) with the Sheeran Looper+? Not natively. The Looper+ does not feature built-in phantom power, so you will need to use an external preamp (not included) that features phantom power to make use of condenser microphones and other microphones that require phantom power."
Your title is deceiving, I expected more playing than talking. Nothing wrong with the video by the way. Interesting content, just not what I expected. Hopefully I being helpful, that’s my intention of my comments.
And it was pretty bad by the way, so this is a guy who made a video because he wanted to show you about stuff he has that is by the way outdated. It’s just very bizarre that he would do that but that’s who he is.
Just show us how you use the pedal stop using external stuff no one cares about your outboard gear it really was a waste of time and you're using third-party pieces of equipment to control this Looper and it just ruined the whole experience of what this Loopers about

Weird question: how did you attach the Looper + to your pedalboard? Velcro on the feet of the looper? In between feet? Other? Thanks!
It's actually not attached, I ended up not putting it on the board
