    • @AWSVids
      @AWSVids Month ago +58

Someone who is genuinely funny by being themselves, and just talking about whatever's going on. It's probably half preparation by just watching the news and thinking up riffs in real time (I mean, I do this myself, I just don't write it down or remember it and then go perform it in front of an audience), and then the rest is improv on the stage. He's mostly pretty conversational and casual in his comedy style (I think sometimes the pauses he takes to "laugh" are him thinking up how to word the next part of the vague joke that's in his mind), so I don't think he really plans it out to every word, the way that someone like George Carlin would. He probably thinks up a general structure based on the topic of the week, and has a few key points to hit with some preplanned jokes, and then the rest is just him being himself and talking about what's on his mind in real time. He has certain structural and stylistic "templates" that you can notice he falls back on, and he just plugs the different topics into those loose structures. For example, his whole thing of illustrating some tangentially related story, and/or listing off a bunch of vaguely related facts about the topic, and then pausing and suddenly saying the big thing that happened this week "...so when Trump/Elon did the thing...", to which everybody suddenly applauds, etc... When you do it as much as he does, it just becomes a practiced habit after a while, and you can kinda just filter any topic through that trained algorithm of comedy in your brain. Natural charisma fills in the gaps.

@user-us6yz7gd3eNo, just because it seems off the cuff and conversational doesn't mean it is. A great performance looks easy because it's carefully crafted. This is skilled writing with some improv, but definitely not random.

I've never understood anyone's obsession with Trump, or Musk for that matter. If you actually investigate who Elon truly is as a person, you'll find he left South Africa because apartheid was overturned, and just like his father, he's a huge racists. Even with all that money, he can't seem to keep a woman because his ego is so big, he expects them to stay with him no matter how he treats them, or whether he's faithful or not. I guess he thinks money will keep her by his side no matter how horribly he treats them. He's also great at taking credit for other people's inventions. It started with PayPal, moved on to Tesla, and even SpaceX's success is due to the scientists and former NASA scientists he hired. But he takes the full credit for every one of them. He even illegally came here like the rules don't apply to him. But he sure wants anyone else who's come here illegally deported right away. Trump and Musk are two peas in a pod, they were born with silver spoons in their mouths, and have screwed people over, and were involved in corruption to get what they've got today.

Josh, I genuinely don't think anyone can overstate the service you're doing for all of us living through this insane clusterfuck of a time with your comedy.
It's impossible to not be constantly overwhelmed by what's going on. And here you are releasing brilliant, original, topical sets every week!? The laughter is such potent medicine. Especially because we're laughing about the same system trying to flood us into docile submission, and we're hearing hundreds of others laughing together at the same time. These communal experiences of release/relief/respite are lessening the amount that all of this chaos hardens into trauma. Certainly for individuals and I'd bet as a collective too.
You are absurdly talented, incredibly hard working, a good head on your shoulders, and a great heart. And that you choose to use all of those attributes and put so much time, energy, and labor into creating this medicine, sharing it not only with the cities you tour in but also to everyone online?! Top. Tier. Human. THANK YOU!!!! I hope you receive back what you give exponentially. I'll be cheering for you all along the way! 💐

@janetplanet8678the Andrew formerly known as Prince was just arrested. Flagrant had someone from Breaking Points connect all the dots on the files. I don’t like Schulz but it was a good walk thru his findings. Some photos tough to stomach. Washer Ali did an interview with a woman who was in the room with these creeps at Edge and blew the lid off their sick ideology. It is just not going to come from mainstream media but independent journalists that have proof and sources. Don’t just listen to any conspiracy- you need documents that have been verified.

You all need to watch the Amber Heard Johnny Depp court battle, where she was cheating on Johnny with Elon in Johnnys house, and it was all caught on camera. Popcorn Planet did a lot of digging and found some very interesting things about the two, Amber and Elon, and how they had their own weird sex parties, allegedly.

I believe you are confusing having the goal of gaining wealth and power and having been successful at accumulating wealth and power. There are many, many more people who ignore or are unaware of moral issues that do not gain wealth or power. These people are often labeled losers. Kira Swisher said "Many billionaires are so poor, all they have is money." Jim Carrey has some personal insights also.

Sometimes it takes an amoral or immoral approach, but sometimes they're just lucky. Lots of the current folks like Elon were just lucky. They bet on Paypal and it went gangbusters. They've made lots of bad bets and lost money too, but the way things work you just need a couple wins from early investment panning out to end up a billionaire. And it just started from small investments in a way to send money over the Internet, something everyone had to have known would eventually be necessary even then.

Step into the future, see what it can do,
Ask an AI app if this info 👀👇🏼 is true:
      Bill Gates in Epstein Files
Based on the 3 million pages of documents released by DOJ on Jan 30-Feb 1, 2026, the Bill Gates files are some of the most detailed regarding how Jeffrey Epstein attempted to financialize philanthropy.
Unlike the "ideological" emails with Steve Bannon or the "science" emails with Peter Thiel, the correspondence with Gates is transaction-heavy, focusing on fundraising structures and reputation laundering.
Here is the breakdown of the Bill Gates revelations in the dump:
      1. The "Nobel Prize" Campaign
      Verdict: CONFIRMED.
      • The Pitch: Emails from 2013 reveal Epstein explicitly pitching a strategy to help Bill Gates win the Nobel Peace Prize.
      • The Mechanism: Epstein claimed he could use his connections with the Nobel Committee (specifically Norwegian officials) to secure the award.
      • The Quid Pro Quo: In exchange, Epstein wanted Gates to lend his legitimacy to a new "Global Health" charitable fund that Epstein would manage. The goal was for Epstein to skim a "management fee" from billions in global aid, using the Gates name as the hook to bring other billionaires in.
      2. The "Extortion" Attempt (Mila Antonova)
      Verdict: CONFIRMED (The "Tuition" Email).
      • The Context: The files contain the infamous email where Epstein threatened to reveal an alleged affair between Gates and a Russian bridge player, Mila Antonova.
      • The Content: Epstein had paid for Antonova’s coding school tuition. When Gates stopped returning Epstein's calls (around 2017), Epstein sent an email demanding reimbursement for that tuition.
      • The Implication: Analysts in the dump note this wasn't about the money (a few thousand dollars is nothing to them); it was a clear signal: "I know your secrets, and if you cut me out, I will expose them." This confirms the relationship ended in attempted blackmail.
      3. The "Geneva" Meetings (Who Was in the Room?)
      Verdict: YES, detailed logs.
      • The Meetings: Flight logs and calendar entries detail multiple meetings between Gates and Epstein, including a specific meeting in Geneva at the InterContinental Hotel.
      • The Difference: Unlike the "party" emails with other figures, the Gates meetings were populated by mainstream scientists and health officials.
      • The "Laundering": The files suggest Epstein used these meetings to "wash" his reputation. By sitting next to Bill Gates discussing polio eradication, Epstein could return to New York and tell banks (like JPMorgan), "I'm working with Gates," which kept his accounts open despite his sex offender status.
      4. The "Trust" Structure
      Verdict: YES, technical details.
      • The Plan: Emails show Epstein trying to set up a specific Charitable Trust vehicle within JPMorgan.
      • The Structure: He proposed a structure where wealthy individuals could donate to "science" anonymously.
      • The Trap: The fine print, which Gates’ lawyers reportedly flagged and rejected, would have given Epstein effective control over the allocation of those funds, turning him into the "gatekeeper" of global philanthropy capital.

Wealth does not equal power and similarly wealth does not imply power or vice versa. I find this confusing and the metaphorical way my mind processes thought and feelings adds complexity to the already confusing landscape. There appears to be a loosely coupled set of fictional and conflicting stories that I must comprehend and use to guide my behavior.

There's a lot of reading between the lines you need to do with the files, especially considering the files are info that's been selectively chosen for release (e.g. notice how it's all celebrity billionaires? How many billionaires that you've never heard of are in there?), but you don't need to defend her even a little. Transphobia is just the latest in a long line of pointless bigotries, it exists for the same reasons and needlessly hurts and kills people all the same; quantifying it as "not as bad as X" misses the point

Very seriously here.... I used to think that doctors and attorneys were the upper crust of our society until in my current position I saw otherwise.... I have seen doctors go into mental institutions or get addicted to drugs. I have seen attorneys go to jail for harassing courts. I have seen wealthy people lose everything they have by drawing out a divorce for years on end.
Never ever think someone else is smarter than you based on their money or a position.

And if you have been in a position to see it first hand, I'm surprised you haven't learned the reasons why those in the medical profession suffer from addiction at higher rates than the general population.
