- We are in our second half of the year and entering into festive season. Talking about festivals, they bring lots of happiness and hope to unite together for the purpose of celebration and also not to forget some traditions and culture!
While you get ready for the festivals, I bring some ethnic traditional decorating ideas to your home.
As always, the material I use in my videos are very simple and available in every household with some recyclable items.
One small change can make a ton of difference ..so try out these ideas to enlighten your mandirs and get into the excitement.
Material Used:
1.Pillars:
Gift Wrap empty Roles or Paper Tissue Rolls.
2.Base:
Canvas frame, cardboard box can be used too.
3.Top:
Corrugated Cardboard .This kind of cardboard is used for packing support. I got it when I bought an ikea dresser. Alternatively ,Thermocol or any cardboard boxes can be used in different sizes
Below is the Amazon India link if you want to buy.
**If you cannot find any of these I would suggest glue multiple cardboards to make them thicker.

You can always paint in the color of your choice instead.

Hi Rajitha. Very Happy to hear that you liked it. The cardboard is called corrugated cardboard usually comes when we buy something fragile .It is used in packing for support. I got it when I bought a dresser from Ikea. Below is amazon link which looks similar to what I used .

Alternatively , if I can suggest Thermocol or Glue multiple cardboards to make them thicker. I updated all the other material used in the description. Please check it out. Hope this helps :)

Using the java cafe color for this pooja mandir gave it a wood finishing look. There are a lot of DIY's with colorful pooja mandirs, but this color is so serene. Love your style and idea.
