The fact is that this device is very similar to its classmate - the M18 Hellcat, however, the cars also have plenty of differences. Now we will figure out which of the M36 Jackson performance characteristics stand out and in what ways this tank destroyer is better or worse than its brother.
Let's start with the fact that our self-propelled gun has a standard safety margin by the standards of its classmates, but it is small compared to other equipment, as well as a very good basic viewing range of 370 meters.
Regarding the survivability of this vehicle, the M36 Jackson has slightly better armor characteristics than its brother. Let's start with the turret, and here the most durable place can be called the gun mantlet. Thanks to its rounded shape, this element can sometimes catch ricochets, but in general, even tanks of the fifth level can penetrate us here.
But our frontal hull armor is really better than that of the Helkat. The strong part of the M36 Jackson WoT is considered to be the NLD, here the adjustment varies from 120 to 215 millimeters. That is, shooting here, even our classmates may not penetrate us. The upper frontal part is more vulnerable; vehicles of a lower level also penetrate here.
To summarize, our frontal armor can sometimes cause ricochets or non-penetration, we don’t fly into the hangar from the first landmine like the M18 Hellcat, but it’s still not worth relying on armor.

Here you will find good top speed, decent dynamics and poor maneuverability. But in general, the M36 Jackson tank cannot be called frisky, and its mobility certainly cannot be compared with its brother.
Now let's look at the weapons, but as you can see, the gun at our disposal is exactly the same as that found on the M18 Hellcat, but some parameters are even better.
The M36 Jackson gun has a standard alphastrike by PT-6 standards and a good rate of fire, thanks to which it can deal about 1800 units of damage per minute, this is a good indicator, but it is far from the top one.
From the point of view of penetration parameters, everything is quite good. The M36 Jackson WoT tank can easily fight against Tier 6 and 7 vehicles using only AP, but it doesn’t hurt to carry about 10 sub-calibers with you in case of battles at the bottom of the list.
As for accuracy, from this side our weapon looks very advantageous. This means that the gun of the M36 Jackson World of Tanks is endowed with good dispersion, very fast aiming, and even the lack of stabilization is practically not felt due to the stated advantages.
In addition, we can boast of having a fully rotating turret, which completely solves problems with horizontal aiming angles, and the M36 Jackson tank destroyer has a truly American air defense system, that is, the barrel bends down 10 degrees, this is very comfortable.

Интересно, что, несмотря на не самые плохие характеристики, танк не особо вызывает интерес у игроков. Планка на отметки как у Т25/2, который на уровень выше.

Он проходой. Все хелкат берут. Мне танчик нравится. Подвижность не особо нужна. А вот броня иногда решает. Иногда рикошетит. Особенно если в топе, но 80% боев вы на дне.

М36 лишнее в названии. Озвучка дурацкая. По обзору без труб так себе. В обзоре максимум 445 метров в игре.
