Installing PPF is no joke. Whenever I tell people I tint windows for living, their natural question is if I do, or looked into, PPF. I say not for now, I am more accustomed to tinting car windows. And honestly there's more money and arguably less work in commercial and residential window tint. After watching how to install PPF, I'm sure I can learn it in time, but I'd rather stick to what I know and have been doing for years.
My wife bought a new car and we were gonna get PPF installed till I came across Icon Roclear. Which has the same benefits of PPF self healing tougher than ceramic. We went on a vacation and on the way back drove through a sand storm in Arizona and when we got back the whole car had sand all over it. After a touch less wash the car came out shiny like the day we picked it up at the dealership.
It’s trash, my front bumper has ppf, I installed accessory front spoilers on the bumper and decided to go with icon roclear. The first year it was great not so great after the first year. It’s starting to peel off and rocks are getting to the paint.
Most of the time its the best way to go if you're wrapping daily drivers as the costumer most likely wont want to pay for a bulk install. unless you are removing the bumper a bulk install will yield similar results to a kit anyways.

Definitely a cheap ppf install. Anything plotted short is cheap. Every cut will be short. Pay the extra for as much coverage as possible.
