And to be honest, I feel that the movie lowballed how powerful Kong would actually be. In real life, gorillas can lift like 10 times their body weight. Anything their size is most likely getting destroyed. Imagine a giant gorilla fighting another creature its size. If it were a bit more realistic, I think King Kong would have been able to throw Godzilla around more. Not saying King Kong would have won (Godzilla's upgrades and atomic breath are pretty broken), but he would have had the edge in physical strength.
But think 23ft croc 3700 to 4000 pounds vs a gorilla he ain't throwing shit but his life away but I do respect Kong but use that analogy and give the croc regeneration and atomic breath then give the gorilla an axe sorry the nuclear croc wins easy

However, that is not the fairest of comparisons since the croc is so much bigger than the gorilla. In the movie, Godzilla and King Kong are the about the same size.
