In my opinion, for a Nigerian to relocate to the UK for studies, you should have at least 10million naira in real money 😂 Not borrower or bought for show, real money. So you don’t break down working like an ox while your grades suffer. There would be great opportunities to earn money after studies provided you actually put in enough hours into school work!!! Seriously, please, DO NOT play yourself.
I think that one major factor to consider when choosing what country to study in (asides funding) is the availability of jobs after studying. In these European countries, language is a major barrier. If you don’t understand the language, it may be really tough to get meaningful job opportunities. Whereas, in the UK, the language is English and the odds are more in your favor.
In my opinion, if you cannot afford studying in the Uk which I think is alot easier, then it will be tougher in some of the mentioned countries that expect you to lock down a certain amount of funds by transferring to a designated foreign account...
No, you don’t understand..In those countries, you can borrow money from friends/families for the lock in period..When you get there and they release the funds to you, you simply transfer the money back to your family and friends then start hustling…you get it now?
That is awesome. I had nothing in my bank account when I first applied to study in the UK. It is so doable. Determination is all that is needed. Good luck to everyone trying to start
Hi Daniel-moving to any European country apart from the UK and Ireland means you need a grasp of the local language or learn the language. Nigerians always have this mentality that English is a global language and after gaining entry to all these countries they are welcomed by a new set of constraints. So based on your video- if anyone is relocating through the means of studying. They should at least learn the language from Nigeria- at least at intermediate level. Or else you would not get any tangible jobs after graduation without the language proficiency. Furthermore, In Germany -while most public institutions do not have a tuition fee. You still need to pay the Student Union fee and bus tickets- which on an average depending on the state you find yourself is like 120euros per semester. Also factor in housing cost-if you are lucky to get a slot as a student in University housing or hostel- this can be from a minimum of 250 euros for a single room with shared toilets and kitchen. So there are a lot of factors to relocating to a non-english speaking country. Even if the language of instruction for your course is English- please learn the language to intermediate level and once you reach that European country learn more to the advanced level. If you do what most Nigerians do- you will end up doing minijobs with your graduate certificate if you are lucky to get a stay at all. Yes -the tag free tuition is partly true- and if you want to relocate think twice. If you hold a position as a Banker in Nigeria with a Bachelors and want to do a masters here in Germany- do not think that you would continue in that line of profession after your studies. Be flexible to learn the language and also research on which areas in the job market where shortages are- presently in Germany IT is most sought for. That is my own piece of advise. Don't just jump on all you hear online- investigate, ask questions and get candid opinions. Not all that glitters is Gold.
