Cool video ! You must have spent quite a bit of time creating it. We, potters in San Antonio, just had our Empty Bowls event on Sunday. We had over 3000 bowls out for sale. We get together at least 3 weekends a year for a bowl-a-thon where we all throw bowls Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, a week or so later we gather again to glaze them. They get bisque fired in between and glaze fired a week or so after, then the charity stores them for the the event. Some potters just donate whatever bowls they make. We had a pretty good turn out on Sunday. Cannot wait to hear what the final amount raised was. Great cause, and easy to contribute. Potter TIP: just throw a bowl each time you sit at the wheel throughout the year.
My school does this, our teacher makes most of the bowls, then she hands them off to the mud club to carve and glaze. We've got about 192 bowls finished now, and our goal is 300. I think our event is sometime in April.
In Detroit I participate in the empty bowls project & ABSOLUTELY love it! There are 5 of us whose goal was to make 100 bowls collectively. I got carried away & made 25😜 but so what, its for a worthy cause.
The studio I take classes at in my town is part of SMOC and is in the same building as the food pantry, different floor. They have a donation box for things that people don't want to keep (must be functional, and not broken) that I think they give to the food pantry.
Awesomeness! The hours spent editing that..... oh my God! We are so lucky you like us so much!

I don't regret watching this entire video...usually I have to skip to the good stuff. Hahaaa 😝 good job to you all
What I love is Dante trying not to laugh at 3.18 where Natasha is climbing under the door. Ridiculous behaviour!
