  • Harpsichordist Mitzi Meyerson performed works J.S. Bach, Couperin, Purcell and Rameau in the Library's Coolidge Auditorium. Meyerson performs on Landowska's Pleyel, part of the Library's Wanda Landowska Collection, making this a fitting home for an intimate recital by a distinguished harpsichordist who continues Landowska's legacy as a pedagogue and consummate performer.
    Speaker Biography: American harpsichordist Mitzi Meyerson holds the professorship created for Wanda Landowska at the Universitat der Kunste Berlin. Her recordings have been recognized with numerous international prizes like the French Diapason d'Or and the Deutsche Schallplatten Kritik Prize. Gramophone Magazine called her most recent recording "the best harpsichord disc of the year."
