One, two
Yup
When it’s the end of the weekend
But not quite the end of the weekend
Check it out
It is what it is
You got me feelin’
You make me feel like I’m in all my best clothes
So good that I don’t care that Chick-Fil-A’s closed
Like a slow motion cruise on the backroads and byways
Windows down and avoidin’ the highways
Nothin’ else that I wanna do
But take all day and waste it with you
You got me feelin’ like it’s Sunday
You got me sayin’ hallelujah, singin’ praise
You got me feelin’ like the night is gone
And the sun is here to stay
Wo-ooh
You got me feelin’ like the weekend
You give me somethin’ to believe in
When I’m swimmin’ in the deep end
Sky is baby blue, and my blues are gone away
You got me feelin’ like it’s Sunday
And maybe we should make some breakfast
We got lots of time that seems like a good investment
It’s the end of the week and I make a mean quiche
Maybe all of our friends should come over to eat
Nothin’ else that I wanna do
But take all of my time and waste it with you
You got me feelin’ like it’s Sunday
You got me sayin’ hallelujah, singin’ praise
You got me feelin’ like the night is gone
And the sun is here to stay
Wo-ooh
You got me feelin’ like the weekend
You give me somethin’ to believe in
When I’m swimmin’ in the deep end
Sky is baby blue, and my blues are gone away
You got me feelin’ like it’s Sunday
La, la, la, la, la
La, la, la, la, la
You got me feelin’ like it’s Sunday
La, la, la, la, la
La, la, la, la, la
You got me feelin’ like Chick-Fil-A was open on a Sunday
(Snoop, I know, we tried, it was closed, wouldn’t that be great)
Check it out
This a hit
You can tell radio
All the DJs will play it
Cause we got that hustle, that flow
I’m feelin’ good
Feelin’ fresh
Feelin’ blessed
Little stressed
And when I’m with you I feel that joy inside my chest
What you feel
Just depends on what you see
But just don’t take it from me
I’m just the D O double G
You got me feelin’ like a Sunday (Ohh)
You got me sayin’ hallelujah, singin’ praise (singing praise)
You got me feelin’ like the night is gone
And the sun is here to stay
Wo-ooh
You got me feelin’ like the weekend (got me feelin’ like the weekend)
You give me somethin’ to believe in (give me somethin’ to believe in)
When I’m swimmin’ in the deep end
Skies are baby blue, and my blues are gone away
You got me feelin’ like it’s Sunday
Sunday
You got me feelin’ like it’s Sunday
Skies are blue and the clouds have gone away
You got me feelin’ like it’s Sunday

Here because I heard it on the MLB commercial… loving it 👍🏻
Welcome to the Ben rector fan club. Glad to have you 😉
Same...
Never thought I'd see these two team up, but this is so amazing!!!
We knew this one was going to slap. Summer jam alert, not to mention the new Sunday anthem.
ESPN Sunday Night Baseball theme for 2022. Fits nicely
I lovedddd the music video for this! So creative!
Yes it’s FINNALLY here!!! This albums awesome 👏
This song got me feeling like a Sunday on a Wednesday
Dude deserves a Grammy for this album, plus he looks like the living version of Aaron Rodgers state farm singer/songwriter character
If Jon Batiste can do it, so can he! Also, ESPN is adopting this (much like March Madness did with Batiste's "Freedom") for the first three months of Sunday Night Baseball!
Deserves a Grammy for his past album. Now he is just coasting
Sunday Night Baseball brought me here ⚾️ 🧢
That's me on the horns!!!
THIS IS MY FAVORITE SONG OF YOURS!! I was so surprised to see that Ben got Snoop...They are together truly a Dynamic Duo, Just Like Chick-fil-A and Sunday
Brilliant music like this is why I subscribe.
Great, another one of Ben rector’s song that I have to memorize to dance around in my underwear and annoy my siblings with.
So I have been hearing the first few seconds of this song for a Ripon College commercial for the past few months when watching other videos. It's only 5 seconds and I couldn't find when looking. But it was shown to me again today. I recorded the 5 seconds of audio with another device, then played it through the Google listening function, and that brought me to this video. I feel so satisfied that the full song has been found. No idea Snoop was a part of this or who wrote it. I'm glad I found the full piece because it's pretty cool.
I want you to release this on all of the music app
Love love love this song!
Wanna listen to this on LINE MUSIC
Mansss back at it again, so good
LOVE IT SO MUCH!
MLB Banger
Oh yes!!!!!
BEST SONG EEEEEEEVER
I wonder if Ben Rector has ever considered doing a Christian/praise and worship album. I feel like it would be super fun and joyful and I think the CCM scene could use a little more fun and joy ❤️
amazing
Admittedly, I thought this song's chorus and AJR's chorus in "Way Less Sad" were different parts of the same song, from all the
ESPN MLB Baseball ads.
(And, yes, I had to Google all of this. 🤣)
Right! They sound similar
#brilliant!
Sounds exactly like Dazy Chains' Where I Wanna Be. No?
Yeah, kinda weird. Started looking into it, and one of the producers of "Sunday" is part of Dazy Chain, and also another one of the producers of this song have collaborated with Dazy Chain, so I don't think anything have been stolen. Still kinda weird using the same exact music though.
Snoop dogg leyendaa
Woah, nice!
This song sounds like Snoop is to Ben, who Bob was to the Beatles
yessirrrr
🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Watched the live on Wednesday night and the story of Snoop writing his verse and the edit you had to do had me ROLLING 🤣
Where can I watch this? I didn’t see it.
@@andyknight240 Sadly I don't think you'll be able to watch it. You had to either have a ticket to his House Of Blues Chicago Show or pay $5 for a live stream of it.
@@andyknight240 search "ben rector and snoop dogg" on google. you should see a podcast by bobby cast talking about it
Very clever lyrics`~`
💓💓
You’re my idol
Aka the Sunday Night Baseball theme song.
2:14 and that my friends is how you spend a quarter million dollars lol
Wow just wow for that much that verse lol
If you like this song I really recommend Peabod. His music sounds a ton of like this.
I think i love "dazy chain - where i wanna be" more.
Haha! I just learned about Where I Wanna Be today and thought it sounded strangely familiar. I played them both at the same time and they didn't even change the key.
Chick Fil A may open on Sunday’s after this one. ♥️
They should use this song as music for an ad
Chick-Fil-A”s Man
😱😱😱 this is by far the best song you have written, with Range Rover taking 2nd and Living My Best Life taking 3rd! I have avoided Snoop because of his anti-police sentiments but in this song he just sounds like a really chill rapper, so this is prolly the only song with him I’ll listen to. But like wow you guys really did it with this one!!!!! Keep making stuff like this!!
BEST SONG EVER
Endorphins engaged
it is sunday for me um.....
8th comment…it’s not number one but at least Ben said comment number 8 wins free tickets to his next concert! 😎
Is he talking about Jesus?
N ,el
Great song but Is this song supposed to sound exactly like his song Range Rover
I can see where the similarities are but I feel like it’s much more piano felt with AJR vibes
Did you guys HAVE to shout out CFA? Lowkey hostile, dude. Why even flirt with being perceived as anti-LGBT+? Super disappointed 🙁
Uhhh because the chicken sandwiches are good. It has nothing to do with the owner’s/company’s personal feelings towards others. You can eat somewhere and not feel personally resposible for those feelings
@@Thatoneguy48147 it appears you are unaware that this isn’t just an opinion of the owners. They financially support anti-LGBT+ groups that actively harm people.
@@perspicuousenigma311 Well every company isn’t without sin. More than likely the phone/computer you and I are typing these comments in are made thru virtual slave labor. Hell, the platform we are commenting on is a censorship machine with unlimited power. I’m just saying that people should know what these companies do and should tell them not to said horrible things, but don’t need to be shamed for buying a freaking chicken sandwich just like someone else shouldn’t be shamed for having a samsung android because they essetially know little kids and poor Asians make them for little/nothing
@@Thatoneguy48147 that’s a strawman argument. Saying “well X happened, so Y is fine” is a logical fallacy. Just go ahead and say you don’t care and deal with the consequences. You’re allowed to not care, just as I’m allowed to care.
@@Thatoneguy48147 but don’t you dare try to argue that it’s okay. It’s not.
