Great video!! The host deserves a big raise!! So much good information. Quick question - I LOVE the new RTX set-up for the tri-five Chevys - is there a video or written instructions on how to customize the information screens? Keep the quality videos coming!!
The BIM series uses proprietary data between the outboard modules and the Dakota Digital instrument systems. But, CANBUS can be used as an input on the BIM-01-2. The full range can be seen here: www.dakotadigital.com/index.cfm/page/ptype=results/category_id=646/mode=cat/cat646.htm
When using a GPS-50-2 along with a BIM-01-2 variation, we suggest connecting the Speed output from the GPS directly to the instrument system control module, not using the BIM connection.
An open circuit, or out-of-range reading from the sender. Double check the wire is connected to the control box and that the system is set to the sender in your tank.
