Being someone who uses and loves Rouvy, I can't wait for this new feature to get rolled out. One reason in particular is that I'll be moving in a few years, and this will give me the opportunity to record my current favorite routes and then ride them on Rouvy after I move. Keep me from missing them as much. Also great news that Jetblack will be selling models with a cassette instead of that disc for the same price. That's a good $50 I won't have to spend. Thanks for the video!
I got a cyclplus mini pump and it's great. It's lighter than 2 CO2 cannisters plus it'll do 3 inflates. Importantly, it holds its charge, sparing you the need to frequently keep charging it up. Presently, I carry it in my back-pocket as a backup pump. After snagging a flat it worked a treat.
Mine has stayed fully charged in excess of 2 months easily. I went back to recharge it as I expected the battery to drain over this period only to find it was still fully charged. I am “belt & braces” so still carry CO2 canisters, but have not had to use them. The Cycyplus is way easier to use
I just got the AS2 Pro and aim not having good luck. Whenever I’m holding it snug on the valve, it stops because it thinks the pressure has been reached. Have you had this problem?
@@msegui9 Yes I have had the same issue. It’s usually had to do if your tire is still inflated. If that’s the case you need to start running it and then connect it to the valve, which isn’t great. It works pretty much the same way as a CO2 canister in that you’re inflating a flat tire, rather than topping up an inflated tire
Wish companies would do more with Headlights. Design them with a shaped beam so no blinding on coming traffic and be under the headunit mountable on a gopro type mount. Too many have just spot beams and if they do have a shaped beam to mount it under the headunit it has to be mounted upside down so there goes the whole shaped beam thing.
Dude - Outbound lighting Detour ticks all those boxes. I have one, and love it for all those reasons. Riding in the fog during the first evening of Badlands I was the only guy not getting bounce back light in the face because I had a cutoff and could adjust the angle up down to optimize. Check it out
I may be switching to Rouvy for off season training. Being able to upload our team bike routes is a bonus!! Also, that electric bike that was pulling the lady at 5:05 was pretty cool!!
I mounted a Niterider Bullet up under my seat just like the Lezyne taillight using a couple of parts from 76 Projects. I used their saddle rail mount and one of their GoPro light brackets. The light has a tiny button on the center of the light and I have it mounted so it's flush with the back of the seat so its easy to turn on/off. My only complaint is if it's light outside it can be hard to see if it's actually on.
Favourite bike, the one that looked like a bubble car woman reclined with a white dome/roof thing to keep her dry, but any rain would totally splash up the open sides anyway!
Something not flashy or techy but interesting no one's covered yet: the release of the new flagship Conti tire, the Aero 111, which is a 26 or 29mm tire for the front wheel only. It's being sold now in a bundle with the GP5000S (rear) in 26/28 and 29/30 combos. It claims superior grip and aero benefits at speeds as low as 30km/h. It's also $150 per tire, so some independent testing would be great to see!
My guess is that at best, it'll give you no more than 1w over the most aero tires. I'm wondering if it's the same construction of the 5000 tt. If it is, it's not going to be the fastest tire out there. *Just crossing numbers with Aerocoach's data on rolling resistance and tire aerodynamics.
Having read reviews of various Chinese electric pumps and owning an electric pump from Bosch (which is, admittedly, significantly less compact), I’m very skeptical about all of them with an exception of Topeak one - those guys make very solid bike tools and pumps, I hope they can get it right.
Super good review, I would like to see more on uploading video on Rouvy and have someone like you to review a route you know and have comments with tips and trick from your experience from your own upload
The coolest bike is most certainly the one ( 8:56 & 12:40 ) pulling a four wheel trailer with a two wheel trailer and an advertisement stand on it. Ebikes are forcing corporation to rethink their local deliveries in cities' downtown and other traffic heavy area or sectors with pedestrian streets.
I would love to see a test with the Elite Square in combination with a Neo2 ( could be a potential replacement for my Neobike... ) And awesome coverage from Eurobike 👍
@DCR, the Rouvy 3D world editor looks fantastic. Now that RGT is gone, are there any other applications that can create a 3D visual route from a GPS file?
Garmin should merge that pump with their Varia Radar or at least rear red light. On an average ride you should be able to have enough energy for regular Varia functionality and still have spare battery to inflate one or bot wheels should bad luck strike.
My favourite passing bike was the one with a small child on the front facing backwards……at least I think that’s what I saw🤔. Child based crumple zones….its the way forward 😂
I was about to comment why Ray is not at TdF this year!!! Did you watch Remco winning the stage??? Also, if possible please do cover S.Kung’s custom TT bike 🙏
I think I saw my friend's bike company go past.. ten:07 cargo bikes.. actually that is a lie. I didn't the bike go by.. but I know they are there and wanted to give them a shout out haha
The pod rules me and many out. My foot would definitely rub it and there's no way I'm moving my cleats enough to clear it😂 The speedplay and assioma pod are a non-issue due to the stack but this is a terrible design
Those Lezyne lights don't have great beam optics for anyone coming the other way. They're terrible. It's like having a car coming at you with the high beams on. Can't stand bike lights like that.
Rouvy did it! I thought about this a lot during the pandemic. Very cool for race prep. Love. This.
Like this format a lot…just like I FaceTime with a buddy talking about bike stuffs😂

"...if the power meter isn't accurate, then it's Shimano."
Burn. Sweet, sweet burn.
definitely the guy almost falling out. I'm honestly impressed by that cargo bike, it's huge!
How well does it hold the charge if not used? Are we talking weekly? Monthly?
Mine has stayed fully charged in excess of 2 months easily. I went back to recharge it as I expected the battery to drain over this period only to find it was still fully charged.

@@TheRealMichaelB I also have the Outbound Detour. I just wish there was more options out there.
Rouvy rocks. My favourite indoor cycling platform. I like “traveling” element.
10:40 "at the end of the day, if the power meter is no accurate then it's just Shimano" 💀
They should just call the model, Shimano😂
I may be switching to Rouvy for off season training. Being able to upload our team bike routes is a bonus!! Also, that electric bike that was pulling the lady at 5:05 was pretty cool!!
Looking forward to the annual washing machine in the team bus feature.
Loved the cargo bikes

Loving the wide variety of bikes purposed to haul cargo
I liked that one bike with two tires!
That new Rouvy feature looks so cool, look forward to seeing more about it.
Hey, maybe you and the Llama should race on that Whiizu, winner take all...
Favourite bike, the one that looked like a bubble car woman reclined with a white dome/roof thing to keep her dry, but any rain would totally splash up the open sides anyway!
I bought Favero Assioma’s after waiting for IQsquared. They are the best bike kit I’ve ever had. Amazing
That Lyzyne AI light I already have something like that for years from Amazon. Was like $30. It’s great. It’ll brighten when I brake and everything.

Thanks Ray. Really liked your quirky take on this. Mini pump looks interesting.
Having read reviews of various Chinese electric pumps and owning an electric pump from Bosch (which is, admittedly, significantly less compact), I’m very skeptical about all of them with an exception of Topeak one - those guys make very solid bike tools and pumps, I hope they can get it right.
It's hilarious that Zwift take years to come up with a new course and Rouvy can do it overnight for each individual user.
I am going with the 4 wheelers. But personally the new Urban Arrow or the new riese and muller looks ace.
Super good review, I would like to see more on uploading video on Rouvy and have someone like you to review a route you know and have comments with tips and trick from your experience from your own upload
The dude in the back of the bike filming. So many others. Wish I was there.
My favourite bike Ray is the Seka Spear. Best regards Martin
loving some of those "low-rider" e-bikes.
Cycplus AS2 works like a charm on road and gravel.
The compact tire inflator, if it works well, looks interesting…
So many to choose from!
The Rouvy thing is cool. Next up, uploading your GPS and leveraging Google Earth imaging.
Ou this Rouvy update seems like a great thing for me, as a race director.
"App Neutral" as a better term over "App Agnostic" (8:34)? Favourite bike has GOTTA be that bike for carrying other bikes (8:57).
I think the reason you don’t have more subs is if people did, they’d go broke buying all these cool gadgets you review. 😂 great content!
I would love to see a test with the Elite Square in combination with a Neo2 ( could be a potential replacement for my Neobike... )
And awesome coverage from Eurobike 👍
yes more on those pumps
Thise mounts look nice!
Awesome for Rouvy! Sadly you can’t use Rouvy with the zwift smart bike 😂
Anyone else constantly checking his wrists each video to see what watch he’s testing next haha. 😂
No
Yes, Fenix E, Fenix 8?
Yep, me too 😂
duh!
Great coverage!!
Funny to see Lezyne display a blinking back light at Eurobike when they are illegal in Germany :D
It's Eurobike, not Germany bike.
The Quintana Roo 4:35 ;)
Well played!
@DCR, the Rouvy 3D world editor looks fantastic. Now that RGT is gone, are there any other applications that can create a 3D visual route from a GPS file?
How much will the Rouvy 3D upload cost? A 25 hour cloud session isn't free.
I was thinking the same....
That dig at Shimano *chef‘s kiss*…

The four wheeled "car-like" bike at 12:42 with two persons on look fun, I'm all in favour of big electric bikes replacing cars in cities.
Love your videos and especially this roundup, Ray - but I wish I could find the x .75 speed button. ;-)
I definitely prefer the XPédo powermeter strategy to the Shimano one.
The bouncy bike going by
The phrase to use should be appgnostic….
The one that looks like a mini-van.
Come on Ray.. ‘appnostic’ surely 😅
No iQ2 power meter pedals? Any day now!
That two person recumbent was quirky as hell
When and where is the pump available?
Want a small one with a digital gauge... That seems to be the one.
I wish I was there this year, but sounds like a less exciting year anyway so that at least quells my fomo😂
Never thought I'd say this, but I might change from Zwift to Rouvy coming winter
Lezyne Flexi Stem Mount 😍 Shut Up and take my money!
The bike at 8;59 looked pretty special, seemed to have the rider at the front facing backwards..?
I was about to comment why Ray is not at TdF this year!!! Did you watch Remco winning the stage??? Also, if possible please do cover S.Kung’s custom TT bike 🙏
And Amazon have a fleet of those cargo bikes in London.
That bike there...
Jetback Victory got to be the best product for Eurobike 2024 but just one year too late with my Kickr Core purchased in Dec 2022 😢
Where is the recumbent cargo bike? It's about the only thing I didn't see go by.
Ray & Passing Bikes = Dog & Squirrel
Truth.
I think I saw my friend's bike company go past.. ten:07 cargo bikes.. actually that is a lie. I didn't the bike go by.. but I know they are there and wanted to give them a shout out haha

Bonus!
Xpedo vs IQ2- race to the bottom!😂
Best comment was. : if you don’t make your power meter accurate, well, that’s just called shimano 😂
any idea on the release date of the lezyne rear light release date?
Sounds like early August.
@@Dcrainmaker thanks. Maybe I'll wait to get this one! 🙏
Best bike the bouncy bike 9:30
Holy sh*t, that new Rouvy feature might just be a k*ller app, especially for TT recon
It's super cool!
insert witty comment for youtube statistics 🎉
I'm not sure the marketing folks thought through "ex-paedo"
Squirrel!

Those Lezyne lights don't have great beam optics for anyone coming the other way. They're terrible. It's like having a car coming at you with the high beams on. Can't stand bike lights like that.
But it’s a rear taillight?
Comment..just for the stats
But Rouvy riders looks so bad from lightning. It's an object that obvious should be not there, please change my mind....
