Formed by Tommy in 2000 under ReinXeed. Changed their name to Majestica in 2019. Still ongoing band. Tommy joined Sabaton in 2016. Yes Tommy is Swedish.

❤Nice reaction. Be proud of Tommy! He is of course Swedish like I am and all the members in Sabaton. Majestica is also a swedish band and they are all awesome. Regards from me in Sweden.

One of the Scandinavian bands that rules the symphonic metal world.

ReinXeed started as Tommy's solo project in 2000, but the band was actually formed in 2002 when they recorded their first demo, Future Land, a song that was later re-recorded and both versions are on Majestica album Above The Sky. They changed their name in 2019 when they swiched to Nuclear Blast Records as a fresh start (and also for legal reasons). The band has had many different members through the years (except Tommy who is also songwriter). Current members are Chris David (bassist), Joel Kollberg (drummer), Petter Hjerpe (guitar) and Tommy of course. The guitarist in this video was Alex Oriz who had to leave the band last year (member since 2012) after a very serious burn to his hand which made him unable to play guitar on a profesional level. I strongly recommend their Christmas Carol album, concept album made after Charles Dickens' book and ReinXeed album 1912 (about the Titanic)

Ok, Tommy is shining in this..- Well, expect nothing less I really like it.. And the band?- Their domicile is Boden (mid/northern Sweden) and I hear some influences like band Helloween (from Germany) and some movie vibes.. Nice reaction guys, keep on.. 💓👋

I think this was recorded at the LLA airport outside Boden in north Sweden, Tommys hometown.
I requested this song long time ago, cause I knew you would like it. Especially Suesue 😉
Now its time for you two to get to know Brothers of Metal, and since they have a young blonde female vocalist I think its mr Wolfs turn having a crush. 🥰
You must try their song "Kaunaz Dagaz".
    Great reaction,
Suesue seems so happy when Tommy are on the screen. 🙂

Majestica are a good time, they have a bit of an odd portfolio so far, but it's all great fun. I want to recommend three artists who you haven't touched yet who are among my favourites:
    1. Ad Infinitum (Swiss), try the official videos of "Marching on Versailles" or "Unstoppable". The lead singer of this one pops up in collab projects a lot too.
    2. Poets of the Fall (Finnish), try the official "False Kings" or "Daze", or the live "Carnival of Rust". Poets are contendors for my favourite band, amazing versatility and lead voice.
    3. And as a wildcard choice, Loreena McKennitt (Canadian), try anything from her, she's magical.

Dang...I've had this song stuck in my head for days...this doesn't help! Notcomplaining
The great thing about the band is that all the musicians are top-notch and also have really good singing voices! You'll hear if you you check out their Christmas record...which is brilliant.. and I hate Christmas!
Tommy is Swedish, and over 6'4" bc next to Jannes (Floor's husband) he's taller!

This was 2019. As far as new bands in America that do something similar, though not exactly the same genre, there is a band that I highly recommend you check out - Polyphia. They are from here in Dallas area, and are more progressive and mainly instrumental now, but extremely impressive and talented. Start out with Playing God ruclips.net/video/Z5NoQg8LdDk/видео.html It was filmed in Fair Park in Dallas. I think you’ll love them.

I don't know of any American metal that does it. The only other rock/metal band I know offhand that has anything switching off like this is Band Maid. Their song Freedom, primarily, and maybe the instrumental Onset, but there could be more. ( I am still learning their catalogue. ) I do know American acapella groups that switch who has the lead vocal. Not always in the same songs, but yea. Show Boo Boo and Buster Home Free's version of When Will I Be Loved if you want to delve into stuff that's not metal/rock related. Great reaction :)

Thanks Ellen! We do love Home Free and most acapella groups
As we get older we get a taste for edgier and heavier music
      Kind of backwards huh!?!

@@SueSueandthewolfman eh maybe, but I did the same thing. When I was real little my sis was into hair band, which I didn't really like that well then. Almost everyone else in the family was into milder music. Mom loves Elvis and I had a tape of Micheal Jackson's Thriller. otherwise, I mostly heard my grandparents do country covers.

The constant double kick on percussion is not necessary. It borders on annoying. There are other things a percussionist can do beside that. Night wish uses Toms for instance. I love Tommy, but this became somewhat annoying. Musician by the way.

The drums for this album were recorded by former Helloween drummer Uli Kusch and while I really love this song, I believe that their current drummer Joel Kollberg is the best drummer this band ever had. I'm not a musician, but drums on Ghost of Christmas Past, for instance, just sound better to me
