The ludicrously good hiding spot from one team, and the absolutely crazy chases and escapes from the other. Man, this was so good! Would definitely love to see more team H&S in the future!
Everyone played their part so well, it was crazy. Smant was easily the best when he came to catching people. He literally caught 4 people in one of the kingdoms, it was insane. Both CJ and Fir had 10/10 runs. CJ spent his killing time and taking 5 seekers with him for ~15 minutes, all the while his two other tm8s were still hiding. Firs run got an extra 6 minutes added to the clock and idek how managed to last that long. Firs run was one of the most intense things I’ve seen with this game. Crafty hasn’t had much luck when it comes to hiding, but as I saw in another comment, his ability to spot people is great. He also caught the person hanging on the sign in Metro. GPB also helped with finding people, and got killed by a goomba. His spot in Metro was really great. While he did die before Fir, he bought time for him. 10/10 video!
This is without a doubt the best thing that has come out of Odyssey multiplayer, and that's coming from someone who considers Odyssey Hide n Seek as the most entertaining set of videos on the platform. I was so sure everything was over after France's Metro Kingdom, but team North America really brought it back thanks to some incredible escape skills from CJ and Fir. This was WAY more hype than I could've ever imagined! You guys got seemingly bodied in Metro, but then retaliated so hard. Smant, Cj and Fir popped off and the team coordination was so much fun to watch, I couldn't help but root for your team for the entire video.
Here's why I love watching these; The French Team had an amazing round in Metro Kingdom that seems so simple it's silly, and when it was revealed, no one on Team USA had an angry word or was pissed off, it was nothing but joy and laughter. That kind of competition rocks, it's why I play games too. Not to own someone or bring them down, but to have fun with one another and celebrate the opponent's triumphs. Also, it was hilarious to see how many times you guys walked past that sign. Top tier stuff, I hope there are more international rounds in the future.
That was pure entertainment the way how fir and CJ managed to pull off those escapes in a nailbiter situation in metro kingdom, i enjoyed watching that
The thing I love about cj most is that he always has a lovely smile! Even when he says “I’m mad I’m mad” and screams no at being caught, it’s so nice seeing him still smiling and having fun 4:30
That Metro round is probably the best example I've seen of the different kinds of skills for this game. That one spot added so much time because it was really creative, and would have probably gotten more if not for Crafty accidentally rubbing into them. And then we look at CJ and Fir. Not to say that Smant isn't also a great runner, or that Pooh and Crafty aren't really good at hiding, but holy hell. We've seen how much good movement can win games before, but putting that on a team game mode is insane. Well played all
Smant's reveal that they won is the biggest 180 I've heard in a score drop because up til after France revealed their full time, he sounded like it was all over for them but then as soon as he says "2 hours and" he perks right up and drops the full time and I'm like way to go Smant, Fir, Crafty, Poo, and Cj, and good game France, good game, you had some really great hiding spots

The French had the most clever hiding spots I've ever seen. Then cj and especially fir were just better at running. Fir might have the best movement in the world.
Man, this entire game was so incredible. Those spots were quite possibly the craziest I've ever seen in this series, the chases were phenomenal, and the whole team aspect of this game added so much to it. As a side note, it really is awesome to see just how much Crafty and Fir have improved at Odyssey since starting this series, each going absolutely insane in turn and managing to outsmart and outmaneuver FIVE WHOLE SEEKERS for a long time each, so serious props to them :D
This was an absolute thrill to watch. Like watching the Olympics. I think a combination of that challenge Fir made and teams from different countries would be really cool.
As one of your french viewer I must say what a pleasure to see connections beeing made between the community, and seeing my boy Fukano popping in here was just the best surprise.
Gotta say, I think I like the team h&s format a lot better than the normal one. For some reason, it always rubbed me the wrong way how the hiders usually sell each other out to get an edge against each other. It feels much better for all the hiders to be working together just like the seekers are. Dunno if that's something that bothers the actual players though
My problem comes from the opposite end. Hiders selling each other out is annoying, but many agree that an infinite chase becomes boring and everyone they generally play with is becoming that good. And furthermore, three people - Smallant, cjya, and fir, have speedran this game and then transitioned into this, meaning they all at times can start an infinite chase whenever they are caught. It is great to see them work together and chain infinite chases as a tactic.
Slant being seen early might not be a bad strat. I think he’s the best escapist out of the group and while he’s running everyone else is building up their times for a better average
Thank you for playing with us ! We had loads of fun

Good point; without smallant’s stuff, that French metro kingdom hiding time would have been insurmountable
Watching the stream I was thinking Smant was going crazy for thinking someone was in the frost bites room, turns out there was someone actually. 😅
This was the single greatest streaming video I have ever seen. You all just blew my mind out of my butt. Thank you so much!

Shoutouts to all players who participated in this one. What an absolutely amazing game mode and video.
Literally at the edge of my seat the entire video. Was extremely entertaining to watch
Still can't believe the only reason they found JimmyBoy was because Crafty failed a jump 😆
This might be the first recorded instance of French people displaying earnest teamwork ?
I gotta say, as a Frenchie Im lowkey proud
Honestly after reading the title, I was not expecting this kind of video, but it was really new and exciting! Very fun to watch; awesome as always.
This video was incredible! Fir's epic chase in Metro had me so hyped I loved it! I'd love to see you guys make more vids like this one, it was so fun!
What a great video, the metro chase was insane. I also feel like Mars would've been able to shine in this as well.
That French Sign spot was insane, it's crazy how different the French meta is.
You guys are so creative w the different hide n seek variations. I’m so proud that crafty gets to represent the USA 🦅🎉
I really like the team format, like someone said, makes chases more worthwhile
This was an absolute thrill to watch. Like watching the Olympics. I think a combination of that challenge Fir made and teams from different countries would be really cool.
Smant was the Offensive MVP and Fir the Defensive MVP of Team North America! Hope you guys can do more Team H&S in the future!
Every little second is so crazy from the best hiding spots to avoiding seekers for so long and its so fun to watch and i cant wait for another video
This is my favorite video I've ever watched on RUclips by far. Great idea!
This was some of the most exciting content I've ever seen. Please keep this up!!
As one of your french viewer I must say what a pleasure to see connections beeing made between the community, and seeing my boy Fukano popping in here was just the best surprise.
As french being my first language, and being there live, this was the best crossover I could deam of
Everyone making big plays, Smant seeking at the start and Fir and CJ hiding in Metro.
Watching this live was wild, your chase in metro was so hype omg
One of the french players yelling 'hamburger!!' when everyone was chanting USA at the end lmao
I love that crafty is now using a face cam. So great to see him :)
The funniest thing about every time they yell USA is that Smant is Canadian
Oh Mon dieu, une collab avec Fukano et Jimmy and smant and cjya. This is never seen before content I am so hyped
This legit feels like a sport that can be competetively viable ngl
Like, each team can propose map bans, then offer map picks lol
Thank you guys, this was so fun to watch! Long live canada :)
Merci, c’était tellement amusant à regarder! Vive le canada :)
These vids absolutely never miss. Absolutely incredible stuff all the way through.
They had such good spots, incredible plays by both teams
19:06 I have never heard someone say thank God for lag
I don't think I've ever been more on the edge of my seat in a video. Great stuff!
watching the us boys scramble to find jimmy live was absolutely insane
This one was so much fun to watch. I'd love to see you guys play more teams games like this
Slant being seen early might not be a bad strat. I think he’s the best escapist out of the group and while he’s running everyone else is building up their times for a better average
That is true, smallant is typically the god-tier distractor
Both chases in Metro were fucking impeccable. 10/10 content.
Sequel in thirty years 47:35
I know lots of us watch these cheering smant, but this was a Fir/CJ masterclass of the best jukes and dodges in the business. Some amazing work there.
Man, who knew the French could have such RUclips hiding spots
PLEASE keep doing these teamwork modes. Everything in Metro was so cool!!
