Crazy how Nick Chubb was a complete stranger to some of these people and nowadays he’s pretty much the face of the franchise!
Always takes a while for the young guys to get respect
Those of us who watched him a uga always knew
@@Mikead3lic not every nfl fan watches college all the time
I mean not really Myles garret is a hell of a lot better then him
@@37thousand true dat
Lmao. This man Hue Jackson sat there with a straight face and told his staff "I'm gonna do things how I want to. It's my team, I can do what I want." While having a 1-31 record. Lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣damn
Dude just lost his mother he literally was having a bad time dude he didn't want to be there anymore that's why he got fired in week 8 it's crazy how this showed the teams eventual degradation from the top bad stuff spreads bad stuff
@@CanILaughInYourFaceyeah their record went to a winning record after he left worked out best for both team and coach
@@user-cc9vw4mo6g
When he joined Cincinnati they went 1-6 after starting 5-4.
The Browns were 3 - 13 the year before Hue Jackson was hired. He inherited probably the worst roster in the NFL and the browns owner and GM just made the team worse but people want to blame EVERYTHING on Hue Jackson.
I would be shocked if any draft pick or free agent that was brought in was picked by Hue Jackson alone or at all the whole time he was there.
You know it's Hot Boy Summer when NFL Throwback releases the Hard Knocks
Hot boy summer = suburban white men dancing on Tik tok
Lol
It's almost football time the piggy skin
It’s amazing to watch this then think about how that season ended with a Browns player intercepting a ball then giving it to Hue Jackson on the Bengals sideline to troll him
Such a chaotic season. Such a chaotic 9 years with this team. 😅😅 From Johnny to Deshaun; Hue to Freddy; Kyle Shanahan to Todd Hayley. What a fucking organization of chaos. 😅 I'll be here until I'm dead, though. Go Browns!
@@davidconnor5874 and we are more chaotic than ever this year
@@davidconnor5874 the browns is the browns 😂
Was Hue a jerk or something? Just curious after you mentioned his former player troll him.
Hue never even learned the correct pronunciation for “Tyrod” Taylor.
My mom passed away 3 months ago not only did this hit home but it was hard enough without being all in the media and having cameras in my face I wish it could have turned out better for for hue in the NFL
I think imma go rewatch hard knocks with the 01 Ravens which was by far the best hard knocks💯 RIP Goose 😔
Same I always fall asleep to the old videos him and Sam Adam's led the best rush defense ever
Goose died??!
@@macbaeboi Yes, unfortunately Tony Siragusa passed away in his sleep about two weeks ago. He was an underrated part of that 2000 Ravens defense, Goose was pretty much the anchor behind what was, at least statistically, the greatest run defense in NFL history. I also enjoyed his character in The Sopranos, as well as his work as a sideline reporter for the NFL on Fox.
From a Steelers fan, May He Rest In Peace
@@johnselwitz5362 yeah i saw it 😣. Funny ass dude. Him and unk (Shannon Sharpe) made this series the best
Wow. You can really tell how much the coaching staff didn’t believe him Hue in that meeting. How they let him win one game in two years and bring him back is incredible
That meeting really exemplified why Hue Jackson failed so miserably as a head coach. Dude is arrogant as hell and refuses to listen to anyone he feels is beneath him. His staff is bringing up valid complaints and he's just like, "Well I'm head coach so fuck y'all."
It's no wonder they went 3-36-1 under him and then almost instantly improved as soon as he got the boot.
@@SmugTomato exactly! Hue was so bad that Freddie Kitchens looked good the rest of the 2018 season 🤣
@@brandonjohnson3558 The thing about Freddie's stint is that I don't even think he was doing any real Head Coach duties at first. He was a HC in name only and the Browns' staff just controlled the team by committee. And it worked because they could actually listen to and work with each other instead having to bow to some asshole on a power trip.
@@SmugTomato Gregg Williams was really the HC it seems
Honestly seeing this coaching staff compared to others it’s very, very, very easy to see why they have not been successful for so long if ever. It’s not just the Browns, it’s other too. But it’s screaming and bleeding out of this organization
I love the Defensive group working through the financial rule of 72. Incredible info for anybody to learn
Damn, hue tried to tell baker to come in earlier, and he was just like “nah”
Always new Nick Chubb would be the man out there. Was literally a Dawg in college! Just had that bad knee injury
Bruh that Carl nassib scene had the most cussing I’ve ever heard in a 5 minute span😂
I’m guessing you never seen State Property

Hard knock throwbacks have returned!
finally need 2007 chiefs
aaaaaaaaand now Baker is with the Panthers. This season of Hard Knocks aged like a fine wine
The Browns will ALWAYS find a way to fuck everything up.
Aye at least baker had that insane game winning drive after being traded to the rams for only 2 days! Dude can play, he just needs a good coach to guide him imo
He's been hot garbage at every one of his stops yet he still keeps getting a job. GTBW
@@naswiippNope. You're full of it.
@@mr.brenman2132he shouldn't even be in the league. He's ass
It amazes me that most of these guys on the Browns Hard Knocks aren't on the Browns roster today.
Why does that amaze you? Do you realize how much turnover there is even year to year?
I had to look up the stats so that I didn’t quote inaccurate information but only 56% of players remain on an average team from the previous year and after 2 years only 35%.
And that’s the average. Many teams have even more turnover than that
daaaaamn im watchin this in 2022 and all i can say is LETS GO BROWNSSSSSSSSS !!!!! good luck in Carolina Baker CLE loves you brother !
Tyrod Taylor is such a genuine, down to earth guy. I would love to meet him/ sit down and talk
re-watching cause it's hard knocks season and this was the last good season of the show tbh
Loved the Carl Nassib Compound interest bit, more people needa know about it💯
Letting your money sit in a bank like he said is not going to get you 10% a year in interest. In fact, at this point of time, your savings interest won't even outpace inflation. The average rate of return on stocks is 7% a year, making 10% a year is not easy to do and it's not without risk.
@@lucass9328 correct people should not have savings sit in a bank of course you should have emergency funds in there because the apocalypse is always one bad market day away. However letting it sit in a back every dollar will not have the same value as the day you earned it.
lol he was dead wrong though... talking about turning 1 million into 64 million. I'm no financial expert but I know that shit don't add up.
The financial advice scene LMAO
I still don’t understand how the Browns *KEPT* Hue Jackson after going 1-31 in a two season stretch.
Because... Browns?
Jahnun you dont go 1-31 because the head coach is bad. That means the owner/general manager are worse. If a pro team had average talent it is not going 1-31 even with a bad coach.
Do you see how much they traded to get Watson? That huge contract they gave him? The owner/GM are way more important than the HC because they make the roster good/bad without them.
war eagle 🦅 Auburn football this year will be must see tv
Hey your in another classic nfl video
@@DanRaidersWarriorsSharksGiants lol true crazy how people try to put all the blame on just him, just look at some of the rosters especially earlier in his time with them he had to work with.
You'd think they would've at least mentioned that they had lost Joe Thomas to retirement at this point. I know people, unfairly, don't care about O-linemam but when you lose a first ballot hall of famer and one of the best ever at his position he should at least get a "damn he's gonna be hard to replace".
Thank you for bringing these back ❤️
Gotta love hard knocks
We now know its the front office that is messed up !
Thanks baker !
How I continue to root for this abomination of a team is beyond me but all these years later, and here I am still suffering away. Such is life.
After the first year with Russell Wilson in Denver, I as a Bronco fan have no idea how Brown's fans have done it for so long. 😂
@@NunYa953 I also felt bad watching that debacle unfold. Was actually painful to watch.
I’m laughing but at the same time I feel bad 😭😭😭😭😭
@@monkacharlie you and me both brother, you and me both..
I feel bad for hue jackson, that’s so sad about his mom
Man the hype around Jarvis was real when he got here. Truly changed the direction of the Browns
I remember in high school my offensive line coach would make all the lineman have to do 50 up downs and then we run gassers as after we already ran Gassers I can just tell you it was awful but after like a couple weeks later and it became manageable but in South Texas heat it was hell
That sounds brutal under any weather conditions, but South Texas heat?! That sounds like hell on earth. I guess there’s a reason why some of the best football players on the planet come from Texas.
Amazing so many ppl do that stuff in high school and for what? Lol 1% of 1% play after high school really pointless unless you know you got the skill to make it lro
In hindsight Hue Jackson was an absolute horrendous coach lmao…soo apparent here
Nick Chubb and Denzel ward were the best picks for the browns
No Myles and those two was
@@theglassesriley8229 Myles is the best that the browns drafted but I'm talking about the 2018 draft 😄
The only two players the browns have kept personality I think they should have kept Baker Mayfield .
@@theglassesriley8229 yea it would have been smarter
I know everyone has their opinions. My opinion is that Coach Hue is a fine honorable man that loves and understands the game of football. Really was hoping his time spent here was going to be more successful! God bless ya Coach Hue. 👍🏻❤️
Watching this and seeing where Baker is at in his career
Honestly could've been worse. Bakers got a playoff win with the Browns. So there's that.
Hue Jackson was too nice to be a head coach
He should have stayed an OC
The amount of back patting when the coaches hug is so funny
Oh, Hue Jackson…at least I give you credit for actually jumping into the lake, but “no more freaking losing.” 🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️
kevin stefanski should utilize anthony schwartz this year

I can tell why Hue Jackson won't ever be a HC again
Bc he’s bad at it? Is that why? Lol
In 2022, most of these people are not even on the roster and staff anymore. Baker Mayfield meanwhile is being shown the door after the Browns traded for a QB that's more than likely getting suspended.
Amazing to see the upgrade after Baker took over at Quarterback
I kinda wanted the knock off hard knocks one. The summer with the jaguars one from like 2003 or 2004
New series finally!
Hue Jackson is one of the nicest guys in the league. Which also made him one of the worst HCs in the league.
That’s a good observation
Been waiting for this!!!
Carl Nassib with the greatest advice for anybody!
We all believed (fairly) that Baker had some character problems but looking back he was a combination of Mother Theresa and Gandhi compared to their current qb
Know any other hyperboles?
10:40
hue Jackson: take off the stipe decal on the hundreds of helmets you have in inventory because I wanna make my players work for their roster spot!
Equipment manager: so you mean every single helmet? Or… what if we… didn’t …?
Hahaha I thought the same thing. What a total waste of time. One of those silly symbolic things bad head coaches do for motivation
@@kyucklebeans just to get fired halfway through the season😂😂
Try to deflect all you want NFL throwback but nobody will forget that the Browns just signed Deshaun Cosby
He's still getting paid more than you would make in 10 lifetimes.. He's laughing all the way to the bank!
Well...at least he sees a lot wrong with a little bump and grind...
When they showed those receivers dropping passes (some poorly thrown) all I could think was, they weren't "blessing'em".
Its that time of year again
I cried with hue☹️
Bruh Baker been mad since they put him in an RV. He been looking for a way out.
What went wrong for the Browns. Three things
1. Hue as their head coach
2. Todd Hailey
3. Gregg Williams
Teams can have all the talent in the world but I think General Managers and Owners mess it all up by hiring the worst individuals to lead their teams from a coaching standpoint.
Gregg brought them back from the brink! 5-3 to close it out after the 2-5-1 shitshow start w Hue. I was mad they let him go.
Crazy to think how this was 4 years ago
Didn’t realize Josh Gordon was still around in 2018
33:38 My man was on to something but not the way he was hoping.
Now we really know why Nassib didn't care to impress Taylor Swift
Jarvis speech was legendary
Bless em
as batshit crazy as this might sound, i don't think the 0-16 season is on Hue as much as people like to say it is.
1. that's one of the worst rosters you will see in modern football. they had a QB crisis and ended up sticking with Deshone Kizer who was out of the league a year later and has not played since.
2 it's clear Hue is capable of being a good coach, he had a decent season with the raiders and won awards during his time as an assistant coach in Cincinatti.
i genuinely think if you put any average to mediocre head coach on the browns for the 2016-2017 seasons you would get borderline identical results. Hue Jackson is not a good head coach, but i want to see Jason Garrett win a game with the 2017 Cleveland roster.
@@wtsherman3080 that's my point lol, take an average to mediocre head coach like jason garrett and you'll get similar results.
It’s funny how no one really knew nick Chubb was and now his popular
I been waiting on this one... This was the most toxic team in NFL history
What if Josh Gordon stayed sober? Hall of Fame career would be the beginning
Assistants Coaches: how bout we dont?
Hue: yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa lets
and that right there is why he was a train wreck
Hue had a vision and wanted it done his way with no regard for his other coaches inputs because it was HIS TEAM. Unfortunately, that's why he failed
Hue Jackson was 1-31 at this point after just going 0-16 the season before, how did he still have a job? He gets fired at the halfway point of the season and he actually says “they fired him too soon.”
The "PETER PRINCIPLE".. from a book published a long time ago...the idea is sometimes people are promoted, for various reasons, beyond their capabilities.... like a square peg in a square hole, and a round peg in a round hole, WE ALL HAVE A PLACE WHERE WE FIT BEST...HUE JACKSON, Was a very good asst. Coach, but not good head coach.... it's just not the place where he fits the best ..AND, HE'S NOT ALONE, IN HISTORY....🙏😁✌️
Lol this didn't age well. Which team are you with now Baker?
Video Suggestion for throwback: 1991 bills at patriots week 13
Hey Greg Williams how’s UFL working out for ya ?
Hue , should have loosed the reigns. After the loss of his mom . Sometimes you have to trust the special people on your staff . It shows confidence in them . Most importantly you only have one go around on the planet, if not for moms you would not have that chance.
yes!!!!! Good timing
Dude coming back and watching this now man baker was just a wasnt talent and the injury’s killed him and Nick man no one saw that coming
Jarvis Landry would have been a better head coach than Hugh Jackson
The fact that the browns didn’t fire Hue Jackson after winning only 1 game in 2 seasons
Hue Jackson seem like a nice coach and that it
Sucks that todd Haley got fired. He was actually a good offensive coordinator. He talk to everyone the same way didn't matter how big your name was he pushes you be great. Hue was a joke he shouldn't have even coach that season.
Is it contagious?
That shi contagious bruh
If you have to remind your staff that "You're driving the bus", you shouldn't be driving the bus.
At the end of the day this shi contagious
Jarvis wasn’t with the gimmicks
Cracks me up Jarvis trying to act all passionate and browns still suck bro was bout to cry
And everyone always go crazy over one hand catch 99% nfl wideouts can do this routinely it ain’t that crazy
Those helmets look a lot better without the stripes.
Browns did Baker dirty should have been a Brown for life
Funny how everybody hyped to see Baker and he’s hyped to see Chubb😂
This didnt age well , brings to mind a Garth Brooks song called the dance. The browns ownership , is in effective in retaing real professional world class athletes. Or when they do get a guy, they hold them back. Brings to mind an old saying " Let them cook"
RIP GOOSE
That little 5 year old is almost 10 now.
Should post Jameis Winston Bucs hard knocks.
Um, this is RUclips. Why is the video censored? Can I PLEASE listen to what the players are saying without all of the "BEEP, BEEP, BEEP"???
Wierd seeing Landry lecture the WR about being hurt when he barely played a down for the Saints.

Homeboy really called his girl "Australia"
Removing LeBron's banner is just Cleveland in a nutshell.....
They put a massive banner of lebron james, and it was covering the windows of apartment units. Terrible landlords. How is that even legal?
The Brownies got Baker Mayfield with the #1 pick because they were the worst team in football the year before. Now it's June 2022 and Mayfield (average at best) is being paid $18 million to ride the bench behind a soon-to-be-suspended Deshaun Watson. Mayfield may never start another game and the Brownies are still the Brownies.
He's not going to be sitting on any effing bench for stupid Cleveland.
He's not average
They must hate Le Bron in Cleveland if they want to go up there on a hot summer ☀️ day to bring that banner down
