Portrays has some great stuff. Using the LH7P with an FX3 that gives it full camera control for like $300. Use it with my Lumix cameras too, and while the control isn't there it's still a great monitor!
Hey Preston, I'm thinking about picking up the LH7P as right now I have a Lilliput and I hate it. Couple questions regarding using it with Lumix. I see it does 1.5x desqueeze, on the Lilliput it crops the 3:2 sides off, basically making it a 5" monitor. Wondering if the LH7P gives you a full wide read out or crops it, giving you the black bars on the sides. 2nd The Lilliput has some pretty nasty banding on it when I monitor V-Log to 709, do you get the same issue with the Lh7P? Thanks!
@@bwashmedia but does it have all the features this one has? I'm getting the Red Komodo X next month, but I don't really like big monitors. 5.5 inch is enough for me. I'm checking the BM5 II right now and it looks like it's a wired camera controller instead of wireless on BM7 II DS.
I have had this monitor for about a year now!! (I actually made a unboxing video about it, shameless plug) I Love it!!! HOWEVER, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to upload a lut to the Monitor. I have tried a USB stick, formatted USB thumb-drive, SSD directly to the monitor and NOTHING WORKS!!! I tried looking on the website and couldn't find any support. If anyone has thoughts I would love to be able to see what the final image would look like from my Canon R5ii using C-Log-2. Brandon HELP!!! lol

@@BrendonKPadjasek Haven't worked with the desqueeze on it, but I'll try it out later and get back to you!
@@prestonurvina that would be awesome. Thanks man!
About to pull the trigger on this one with the B&H deal.... Still loving it?
Got one the other day. It’s almost the same size as my ninjas. Not as much bezel and it feels super sturdy
Nice. How is it at controlling that Z8? Very little info on their compatability. Hoping to snag this one or the 5.5" (BM5IV WR)
For $2750,- I’ll stick with the portakeys and my Ninja’s .
The 702 touch is pretty nice (still expensive)
Def my fav, not as bright as my Osee but close enough.
Canon support? Mirrorless and Cinema?
My port keys stopped working in just over a year. Don’t think I can ever be a customer again, unfortunately.
Added to cart 😪
Now youre making me lean on the 7" but I love the 5" tho its compact
Trust once you use it you’ll never go back.
@@bwashmedia Aight I just ordered it lol
Had to make some money back on Jarrell’s birthday present 😂
Hahaha 😂
Does this have a 5-inch equivalent?
Yea it’s the BM5 ii

Bm5wriii works great it’s not as color accurate as a small hd but it’s good enough for starting out . Touch focus too
@@bwashmedia Is it exactly the same but in a smaller footprint?
BM5IV WR just released
$2800. for a small monitor???
WOW That is EXPENSIVE
Why? ... Because it's a RED?

Can’t afford this right now, maybe if I sell one of my kidneys.
No body cares about none of those features for that price SDI HDMi are all dying protocols, phones and iPads are where it’s going
And now with Blackmagics latest monitors, it receives power and av signals through a single USB c
Strongly disagree bad take.
