- Terry Adams flows across flatland with surreal style and one of the absolute deepest bag of tricks, the whiplash being a classic to learn for riders of all levels. The trick to the whiplash is getting to the halfway point. Once you let go of your frame with your foot and place it onto the front peg, you need to shift weight and take the other foot off the peg and receive the frame on the return. Terry doesn't describe this a a brake trick, so try learning this one without them! This one may take a few tries, so watch Terry break this one down professionally in this Step By Step.

Hes an amazing rider but leaves out the part that its the hardest thing ever....lean forward, then push the bike forward. I find learning to balance well n gettin the hang five zoned in really helps. Do hang fives while watchin tv everyday....programs it right into ur cortex
I'm trying this right now
did you mmake it?
@@agram420he gave up after 2 tries
IT LOOKS SO FUN!
they make it look so easy
if this is your first flatland trick find out what your dominate foot is that should be the foot that goes on the back peg.
For example if you do all your tricks rotating ,or carving counter clockwise your right foot should be on the back peg and your left foot should be on the front. Good luck!
i don't use pegs so i've been learning the foot jam whiplash,
And Denes Katona #1 Whiplasher!!! :D
Alexis desloneux has the dopest whiplashes
Easy first trick I learnt
nice video
Big boyyy
Oh wow, and actual "whiplash" tutorial, not some snotty nose kid at a skatepark doing a tailwhip! The only thing I would do differently is I'd put my left foot on the frame instead of the peg to finish off.
this is helping a lot I got a mbx for christmas!!! :D
Bet its a price of shit mongoose that your parents barely can afford
StradeGaming Bet you've gotten a shit grade in English in the school your parents barely afforded.
You don't pay for English -_- And I didn't spell anything wrong...
Says the one who is liking their own comments which is like licking your own ass.
But it's physically impossible for me to lick my own ass, idk about you though. But yea I can like my own comment if you wanna know how, just press the thumbs up button bro thats all

I've been trying whiplashes alot and i've been getting verry close to landing it but everytime i try to jump on my pedals my bike seems to get away from me :s please help (ps i only use my 2 pegs on my right side)

Im 5'3 and 24 years old I still have time to learn flatline?
I don't have breaks on my bike!!! :D
I don't get how i should get the frame into the air to start spinning
That’s a good example but I don’t have front pegs
How to bunnyhop-360, thanks :D
What happened to the free style tricks like in the movie radio thats whats up.marvel Perry south side Chicago
how to whip in
Well you should be comfortable with doing an endo or just popping your back wheel up at least. The rest is just balance and not falling.
Thats craxy. I try it but when the bike reach the half way point it shoots out thus smashing my ass to the ground
Because you're not leaning forward enough.
Thank you. These kids are clueless. Also a brakeless rock walk is not a g-turn.
same here :(
I'm ten years old I can't lift it any tips
What bike do u have
It's cool but I understand things change
I disagree. I learned some flatland back in the day, and I had to learn steamrollers before learning whiplashes. The steamroller was a building block to learning whiplashes. Come on Mr. Adams we're talking about "new-be's" here. We aren't 15 yr veteran flatland riders.
the guys are just spinning around on their front tire now
i dont have step knots
Maybe you should read the comment I replied to.
Sorry the movie rad
isn't a Whiplash a FOOTJAM tailwhip?
thats what i thought
Aaron Bigelow no because you never actually footjam in this trick so it a whiplash so it's not a footjam tailwhip. Two completely different tricks
NANI
kocak
so you dont use the brake at all
one person tried this and fell
That's not a whiplash, that's a footjam whip.
