    Thanks for your lesson, this did only help enrich me musically but also spiritually, I have now devoted most of my bible readings to psalms. May the Lord bless you.

    one of the hardest worship songs i have ever had to learn. you either get the changes right or get lost. the solo is by far the eases part.

    Easily one of my favorites from you guys! This song points to our Lord in a wonderful way and I’m thankful I can learn how to play it.

    I know what the chords are but what do the numbers mean?

      it's called the nashville number system! so the numbers correspond to the chords, 1 would be the Key you're playing in. It makes transposing easier and also when you're communicating with other musicians So in key of G
      1 = G
      2minor = Am
      3 = B (typically played as 1/3 = G/B)
      4 = C
      5 = D
      6minor = Em
      7 = F# (typically played as 5/7 = D/F#)
      Key of C
      1 = C
      2minor = Dm
      3 = E (typically played as 1/3 = C/E)
      4 = F
      5 = G
      6minor = Am
      7 = B (typically played as 5/7 = G/B)
      Key of D
      1 = D
      2minor = Em
      3 = F# (typically played as 1/3 = D/F#)
      4 = G
      5 = A
      6minor = Bm
      7 = C# (typically played as 5/7 = A/C#)

      Nashville number system? Mozart Beethoven and Bach just rolled over in their graves. The real answer is there are 7 notes in a typical scale. This video shows the seven notes in the C Major scale. Major and minor scales always have 7 notes. However not all scales have 7 notes. Some have eight notes (diminished), some have six (whole tone), some have five (pentatonic) and the chromatic scale has all 12 notes. There is more but please don't credit Nashville with the creation of music scales and their numbering system.

      @Teri Wooddell I thought it was an odd phrase "Nashville number system".
      It's just the major scale chord formula.
      Major minor minor Major Major minor diminished.

    Beautiful song but are we supposed to figure out on our own the picking pattern? How is this called a tutorial, it’s more of a teaser to get you to pay for the real thing elsewhere.
