I just got a series 6600 from Costco. Wife got it from Costco. I’ve never had an electric shaver before and it’s great. I wonder if the cheaper versions are just as good. As best as I can see they lower end ones come with NiCad batteries instead of Lithium.
I've just cleaned(attempted to)my dad's Philips 3000 series, same as in your post,it was full of hair etc,but I think 1 of the blades is not sitting right, also can you remove the chrome cover on the trimmer?,thanks for your time and help
I have the Phillips S5582/20. Would it be helpful to spray the blades with Andis spray for clipper & trimmer blades or would that damage it in some way?
thank u sir i thought it was dull blade i just follow ur cleaning instruction and it shaves my facial hair perfectly fine
You are most welcome
Found the S5588/36 comes with sideburns trimmer attached like the 3000 series.
I really expected the cleaning to involve a soak in some kind of soap chemicals bleach or something.

Yes not any real difference in the closeness of the shave.
Flipping heck, when did you last clean that razor
