Also, Wolfheart is AMAZING in concert. I was able to see them live in Orlando a few years ago. Killer show, really cool guys.

Tuomas sure is a productive guy, at one point he had 4 bands (Before the dawn, Black sun aeon, Dawn of solace and Routasielu. He is also a producer under his own label called OneManArmy.
In this video you saw a most common lineup for Wolfheart since 2014. Bassplayer is the guitarist from Bloodred Hourglass and lead guitarist is from Mors Subita death metal band. The drummer is the same guy who played in Tuomas other projects and is his trusty guy.
Tuomas writes everything in the songs except solos and drumming is left to Joonas nowadays.
The way Tuomas writes his music is conceptual, so the albums are ment to listen as a whole to get the whole emotional rollercoaster, but they are not concept albums in a sence that you cannot pick any track at any time and enjoy it as a single song.
First track you ever heard, was The Hammer and it's from Winter War 1939 themed album, hence a different mood and those cannon shell effects here and there if you listen closely.
I suggest that you at least listen Skull Soldier's which is the most recent released video and i'm sure you would apreciate those teeth grinding riffs. It also has few verses sung in russian language by Petro Soloyev.
ruclips.net/video/c9xKGwgt0aM/видео.html Here's the link to official non blocked video.
And few words from Tuomas about the song:
”I did a lot of research about the Winter War for the Wolves of Karelia album, but after the album was out, a few reporters gave me some additional details during the interview cycle and it turns out I managed to miss some really cool hidden gems. One of them was a small ”elite group”, or ”Winter War special unit”, who called themselves Skull Soldiers - ninja level soldiers who painted skulls and skeletons on their helmets. I really felt that I had to write some kind of a sequel for Wolves of Karelia, and since lockdown brought a lot of free time, we decided to make an EP while waiting for the world to open up again for touring.”
I hope i managed to answer all the questions you raised during the reaction.
Edit. Forgot to mention that Tuomas is also a professional gardener :D

Before the Dawn: Phoenix Rising is a must listen. It is one of their later songs off the album of the same name. Great video with live and rehearsal footage. Check it out!

Wolfheart has so many good songs I had to start getting picky adding them to my melodeath playlist because it felt like they were taking over. 🤣

I typically listen by albums rather than playlists. Which is why if I don’t like most of the album I usually don’t keep it in my discography

@@BaldHeadedMETAL Yeah, I started doing playlists because I almost always have to edit tracks off of albums anyway.
