That’s how most of my car maintenance goes like !
At least you didn’t need to resolve the issue with the bolts or strut or inaccessible spark plugs with violence... or childish name calling
Also, would it work if a friend gently pry on the strut bar (since you got the passenger side off) That way there is tension on the nut?
WD-40 and a breaker bar woulda helped with those strut tower bolts.

Growing up with rusty cars in Sweden, penetrating oil / WD40 is your friend :P
Yes, WD-40 can do wonders! If still not moving you can heat up the nut with a blowtorch
At what milage did you change out
Just some info, a crack in the intake tubing will throw off tuning & get a cel if bad enough. This is if the vehicle is equipped with a mass air flow (maf) meter as opposed to a manifold absolute pressure (map) sensor.
Remember a maf measures air density at the airbox long before the throttle body, hence a damaged intake tube will throw of readings. A map measures vacuum after the throttle body well inside the intake plenum, in short a total absence of intake tubing will have no outcome on a map.

I would have used 6-point sockets with a breaker bar.

Get yourself a breaker bar Mr H, so much easier taking bolts out with longer leverage. Also the spinning bolt, looks like the actual female thread the strut bolts into has rounded out inside possibly, which is a pain. Try prysing the bolt up from underneath as you spin it and it should come up. I do bikes and they always break your heart. Much love mate

That was a pain in the ass hope you are able to figure how to get that bolt out. Hoping it didn't rust in such a way that the threads don't want move
There are just some tasks I'll just pay a garage to do...although if they had the same challenges or took as long as you did, you'd have to pay a small fortune just to change out spark plugs.
