Hi Joe! Well, I have a 2014 BMW 550i, so I like that body style a lot. As far as the GT, it’s definitely controversial just like the x6, but the main advantage there is that it actually adds space and functionality so I’m all for it!
Absolutely! Your 550 is what brought me to your channel and I love it! I’m a strong believer that all Bimmer cars are freaking beautiful even the mongo grill ones 😂. I post to BMW on Reddit from time to time and it’s a clear line 95% of folks either love them or hate them. It’s my first “luxury” car and coming from a humble 2001 cavalier what a unit it is! Keep up the great work!!!
Mine has the n63tu in it and about a year later I am pretty satisfied so far! No issues that weren’t self inflicted. It’s the only “sport/luxury” car I have ever had so maybe I am missing the boat? My buddy has a 2018 Audi A5 sport back witch is nice, little less power and doesn’t seem quite as well made. Just my opinion, his is a nice unit I think he just got the wrong end of the stick.
I’ll have to ask my buddy, but honestly, if you buy a twin turbo V8 SUV, fuel consumption is not very high up there on the list. Probably around 17-18 around town and like 21-22 on the highway
Thanks for letting me know. This is a great car man I am thinking of buying this and a 540i 2019 if I can't get an m5 comp. Here in Kenya where I'm from the VAT on bringing in cars is just ridiculous@@SimpleCarGuy
Weight and high centre of gravity will always limit the sportiness of these vehicles.. Best buy a sports car and a cheaper suv.. These latest generation bmw just will cost a fortune after a few years..
You're stating the obvious about limits of sportiness, it's a 2.3 ton SUV. Plus if you can afford one of these you will change it for a new model after a couple of years.
Luxurious powerful BMWX6
Is that stock exhaust or upgraded M sport? sounds great
Standard exhaust on X6 M50i
What’s your opinion of the older model GT’s? I have one 550iGT 2015 and love it. But I also know that some in the BMW world really despise it.

I had the 2018 640i GT, absolutely loved it! I almost kept after lease was done, but ended up getting the X6 m50i..
What is the fuel consumption?

I’d take this over an Audi RS5 Sportsback.
