So everyone knows, the fake Yawach had ALL the power, and memories of the real one. So Yamamoto defeating the fake one meant he was STILL stronger than Yawach. Basically, Yamamoto fought TWO Yawachs with ONE ARM. This was the reason he had the fake fight first. As for Kenpachi, he wasn’t defeated due to less strength or less power/Riatsu. If you noticed, he was still clutching his Zanpakuto but was unconscious. Meaning it was most likely due to illusional riatsu or an incapacitating riatsu. Kenpachi had only a small scratch on him and correct me if I’m wrong, but it looks like he still had his eye patch on. Meaning he had to have been duped into an illusion or double-teamed.

I think he is the strongest shinobi despite the fact that he was defeated by Yhwach, just wrong place at the wrong time, maybe in case if he knows how to prevent bankai theft he would have won. Only Genryusai had that confidence and incredible power. He didn’t need any loss and drama to become stronger, level up as a Ichigo or kenpachi, he was already like that, but Yahwach had a plan and unfortunately it worked.

Ywach was in my opinion the worst villian of bleach. Like his power was so broken they introduced so many new characters and development for ichigo and yet he was just like nah you don't have a new sword (breaks) Like don't get me wrong I hate winning purely because power of friendship. But really why go through the training arc, why introduced all this lore about banki's true names, that they can never be repaired once broken. Dog shit on every strong character new&old to show how strong the BBE is and yet the MC's new power was taken/negated and the power of teamwork was needed. Sorry for the rant but this arc was so good is so many ways but was bad in equally as many ways
The guy who was so strong that he kept in line the strongest most ruthless shinigamis including the first kenpachi meaning the strongest shinigami. Kubo had to kill him off just for ichigo to shine. If he had bankai anti-theft measures he would have ended the war, then and there. Also, I think he was the only one who could cut through quincies blut in shikai form.

He didn’t wrong him. Yamamoto could have defeated YW had he fought the real him first. The point was to weaken Yamamoto so he could steal his Bankai after he defeated the copy or YW would have just done the real fight from the start. The truth is Yamamoto defeated a younger YW with ease because he states he never even saw the other versions of Yamamoto’s Bankai before. Meaning Yamamoto only used his base Bankai to defeat YW the first time meaning Yamamoto didn’t even use his full power the first time around. YW states he could have stolen Yamamoto’s Bankai from the start but we know that’s not true because Royd Lloyd has 100% of YW memory so that includes the current YW not knowing of Yamamoto’s Bankai being stronger or about the other aspects to it. This implies YW, though he defeated Yamamoto, felt shame for not being able to be to do it alone and therefor lies to compensate for being weaker.
