When I was young, my family often camped while traveling. Canvas tents, a war surplus stove you pumped, sleeping bags and a fire 🔥.
When I was older and went camping with friends, it was the same.
When I was older and went camping with a boyfriend, still the same. The experience was partly about being away from our modern lives.
I think whatever way you do it, the experience is what counts.
So, whatever floats your boat.
Also, camping with a boyfriend is awesome 🤩
