King Sunny Ade's Sweet Banana On Vinyl

King Sunny Ade is one of the founders of African pop musicians to gain international recognition and his music pulls from his Yoruba background. I especially love the talking drum and the way the album flows from one song to the next. I tried to create natural break points between each song, but in the ended decided to just let the album play through.
The visual here is a composite of shifting gradient and raindrops matched to the high notes of the talking drum. This is the first album I have picked up from a Nigerian musician but I definitely intend to find more.
