As of today Saki announced she has departed from Nemophila and will probably stick with her Solo career. Sad day for all Nemophila fans
@PHEONIX_720 I saw the announcement too, not exactly on cloud nine from the news, but hope they keep it going as a 4-piece and would love to see what comes next from Saki too!

Saki left nemophila today… I know this was a decision made by Saki and the band after many discussions, but I still feel sad. I have been following Saki since she was in Mary's Blood to today she left Nemophila. Maybe the band's future plans are inconsistent with her. Or maybe it’s because the outside writing team is too involved in the development of the band. To be honest, I didn’t feel the seriousness of this problem before, but now I feel that maybe the band members need more creative space to do what they want to do🙁. Nemophila is a flower with 5 petals. If one is missing, it is no longer Nemophila. I hope they will find a replacement as good as Saki…
The "rough side" of Nemophila's compositions seems almost gone. Is it part of the outside writing team effect? If so, I understand Saki's decision as a mainstream style produces less interest overall.
I too have noticed newer songs seem less heavy, not as fast. Didn't even know they had an "outside writing team" and I don't really like the sound of that. Could totally see something like that break the creative cohesion of the band and with or without Saki on board would love to know I'm hearing their music alone without outside interference. Gonna take a closer look at credits!
@@thewindmillfullovcorpses I actually like their new album very much, and overall this album is heavier than the previous album "sieze the fate" imo, but it does use more songs from outside writers than the previous 2 album.

I'm not very familiar with this band, but I'm a bit intrigued. How much heavier than this do they get? Can someone recommend a song to start on? Preferably something heavier than this, though.

@@corpseflowerbaby if you like a bit more slow-tempo groovy heavy stuff maybe something like "Hypnosis" (personal favorite) from them might work too. But otherwise stuff like Dissension, Revive, Oiran should do the trick. These ladies can chonk! And yes Zen is a great one too, loved their live version! Glad you enjoyed it thanks! / George
