I too wrote a book (1996) and it was copyrighted and someone made a movie about it-->they stole something from 12 chapters of the book. I do recall sending out five copies of the manual script thinking I could trust these people.
It's a long story.
And also, someone stole my play production in 2001, and this man came to my production and recorded it and now, he is a billionaire today from my work.
I could legally go after these people but I just haven't yet--it felt like they raped me, figuratively speaking.
