He's super underrated because of the defense he has in front of him.
actually a bad defense can actually benefits the keeper more than a good defense. eg de gea, for years hes been playing with bad defense that he had to come out with almost impossible saves and make people consider him as no 1.
He is a world class shot stopper, but he lacks leadership. Having a goalie helping out can be really helpful!

legend?...the word legend has lost its meaning...I am a gunner but thetas of legendary used to be reserved for exceptional and consistent players over a career.

he is "good" but greatness is reserved for exceptional and medalled players. but since were are all gunners we have been conditioned to settle for the average. We used to be great. Now we are home for the B- to C grade players.
