I just watched a ton of videos on phone "microscopes" and this is the first one where the photographer is smart enough to have figured out that you need to photograph a ruler or graph paper to see the real magnification ! Congrats!
MR THORNLEY I AM ALSO AN INDIVIDUAL WHO HAS FOLLOWED ALL OF YOUR VIDEOS FOR HL CHEMISTRY. Thank you very much sir for taking the time out of your day to produce videos of such quality that it enabled me to learn and enjoy chemistry. Your videos have been interactive and informative and lead to me being able to earn a 7 since I began learning chemistry through your channel. I completed Paper 1, 2, and 3 for this year's exam and found it somewhat interesting. However, it was not difficult. Because of the understanding in chemistry that I developed through you, any questions that I did not already know the answer to, I feel I created suitable and scientifically feasible responses. All in all, thank you for the help you have provided not only me but many other students globally. I hope your impact in the IB community is forever cherished and am forever thankful to you. Thank you for making me enjoy chemistry, the subject I hated the most when I started high school and ended off enjoying the most! I will remain subbed. Thank you and good luck to any future generations! :) Hopefully I get that 7 on my final too hehe, although I am quite confident in at least a 6 because of you sir! GOOD BYE!
This is made for phone only? I got mine today and couldn't focus and see what i was looking at, i have a 30x that i use without a phone. I couldn't see anything focused in and out ,i never thought of clipping itnto my phone camera. I payed $1.50 for mine, took 2 weeks to get to me.
They typically require it to be pressed against the item you want to view(as soon as you move it away it will be out of focus), these models seemingly have a focus dial on the side for fine adjustments. You may also have to remove any phone case you have on, as these can push the device away from the camera lens.

Ta. If you have a big enough screen any lens is x60!
@@ibchemvids This is why my standard is half an A4 page at 300 dpi with usually the center of the image for maximum or usable sharpness.

Nice review
My iPhone has 3 lens and I don’t even know how to use it! Put it on one lens and it goes blur the setting keeps changing
A good cource for real high magnification lenses would be from small cameras
Just got mine today . Blurry whatever phone I put it on .. I have tried everything and it just won’t focus
Figured out you have to put the lens right next to what your looking at
Someone here whom got this and a note 20 ultra, I want to know which camera to use it on
Everything is blur in mine, how to focus
Same here and I bought a expseive one and still the same
