Thanks! problems tho... Samsung S8+ on AT&T. I took mine out of safe mode but (1) the apps I'd placed on my home screen were gone so I had to put them back and (2) problems with text messages (using the "Messages" app that came w the phone) including some of my texts won't send (get "failed" error) and I'm not getting some texts from others. Is my phone perhaps someone stuck in some sort of "limbo" in between safe mode and regular mode? I've restarted it a few times but still having texting problems.

You literally saved me brother. I downloaded a fake music app on Google and an fbi pop-up showed and would not close. Even after shutting my phone off and taking the sim card out. I literally thought I was screwed and had to buy a new galaxy. Thank you a million times!!!

My phone is still in safe mode and absolutely nothing is working. I had to take my sim card out and when I put it back in, it turned on safe mode idk why and its stuck on safe mode and nothing (and I mean nothing) has worked for meeeeeeeee.

The way u do it is....
U turn ur phone off,then you turn it on with the volume down button and the power button

Stuck at safe mode
For some reasons my Samsung Galaxy S 8 plus phone still remains in save mode even after carefully following the steps to get it out of save mode. Any other tips please?

Same here, not not sure what's happening but my S8 went into safe mode and won't get out, theres slight chance for getting out the safe mode every time I restart it but it almost never works, I already restart my S8 for 20+t times and it still in safe mode
Mine goes into safe mode on it's own. I don't have to go though that performance.

These phones are junk. Mine has been stuck in safe mode even after shutting it down dozens of times. I read the volume down button may need to be used but that too is broken. I’m watching this video and commenting via my iPhone.
Edit: the same iphone that’s been used for four trouble free years I might add.
