This video is pivotal for my understanding! I had observed and felt these differences but noone was talking about them, so was starting to think I was hallucinating! So many questions answered here Stu. Thank you!! Amazing putter drill too!
......😁 I had a sneaking suspicion that was part of it. Great video Stu. Love hearing the difference between irons and driver. Makes it so much easier when standing over the ball. Tell Simon I've rented a large room and invited about a thousand people for next weeks concert 😁⛳🍺
Yet another great video!! I love your examples and details in your videos explaining what is complex in our heads but is actually a lot simpler. Thank you again coach!! I can't wait to go out and practice this as the driver is the worst club in my bag.
Hello Coach Stuart! Just giving you an update. I watched this video and the one with the irons numerous times all the while taking down key notes. And I can attest that my shots were coming out 100x's better. Driver in particular is getting some really good launch. The concept of handle low club head up is truly mind blowing. However, I am hitting a lot of toey shots. I'm doing everything at maybe 60 to 70 mph speed. I think once I get more comfortable I will be hitting more center shots. Thank you again and sorry for the long comment.
This and your iron video are spot on. I just wish you'd give more clarity to your PULL phase that the hands must move clockwise (like from 3 to 6) or people will be over-the-top at the bottom and pull their ball well left. Clockwise sets up the inside to inside swing and you're spot on with how the club works.
Contrary to most golf tutorials to create tilt to hit up.. I have been doing that and delofting my driver... Wow light bulb moment for me... Going to try this. Not sure if it work for me.. But great video anyway... Thanks Great video
Hi Stu, do you straighten your left arm or even keep it straight to provoke the brake? Thanks for the great amount of new ideas! Greetings from Germany. Günter
Hey Gunter, lovely to hear from you my friend… using the straightness of the left arm as a braking mechanism isn’t something I’d advise. Best wishes Stu
Thanks, Stu, for another high-quality video with such a clear and informative explanation! I’ve really benefited from your content-having adopted this feeling of release based on an earlier video, which has been a game changer for me as a former handle dragger with the driver. I’ve noticed that with my driver, I sometimes still leave shots out to the right. It’s not the big block I used to see, but I get the occasional fade with the driver, while other clubs now reliably hit a draw. Do you think this could be due to the club not swinging enough, or is it just a result of the longer club and strike location on the face? Thanks again for all the valuable insights!
Bless you Andy - really appreciate the feedback and insights. I would check contact on the face, may be a hair heel side, otherwise more of the same to square the face. Best wishes Stu
Hi David, there is no specific point when you roll your hands, nor should rolling be encouraged. I would watch more of my content to understand further.
So, a very different technique versus a iron shot where you are both steeper and more forward in the ball contact position? Is it possible to use this technique for irons as well or will the bottom och the swing be to flat with risk of hitting the ground before the ball? How about FW and hybrid shots? Nice explanation :-)

My pleasure Chris, glad it’s helped the understanding my friend.

Will let Simon know, he will be pleased 😂😂

Let me know how it goes Allen 😊

Keep at it Allen and keep me in the loop!

Thanks for your thoughts Rick 👍

I am old school.. I am sticking to old pros (ex Master/Open champions) and tips hacks and enjoy my weekends golf .. lol
As long as you’re having fun, all that matters.
When do I start rolling my hands? It doesn't seem like I will have time if I use it in the phase portion of the swing.
Hi David, there is no specific point when you roll your hands, nor should rolling be encouraged. I would watch more of my content to understand further.
After trying this drill.. I've increase my putter distance by 15 yards! 5 putted twice yesterday 😉
Haha bingo!

Depends how steep you are with your irons Patrick.
